Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 21 revolves around Webb's desire to get rid of Stabler.

Jet learns that Webb has ordered a hit on Stabler. Stabler is not worried, but everyone else is.

Stabler moves his family to Kathleen's so they will be safe, but his mother begins to unravel. She gets manic and rambles, and is on the phone with Stabler when someone shoots at him and misses.

Jet helps ID the shooter, and Stabler finds and chases her. They get into an epic fight and Stabler manages to get the better of her.

Meanwhile, Donnelly announces that he's leaving the Brotherhood and that Stabler is in charge from now on. Stabler isn't happy and neither are the rest of the crew. Donnelly's wife also is not happy when she sees he has a ton of money and is making preparations for them to run away and start a new life somewhere else.

Finally, Jet looks into the bullets Stabler found and confirm they came from the same gun as the one that shot Joe in the leg. Stabler realizes his father's partner shot him to cover up a dirty shoot.
