Callen gets trapped by Katya after she uses a deep fake of Sam contacting him about a weapons deal. Sam discovers that Callen has been taken when he fails to show at the meeting spot. Callen tries to get Katya to work with him to kill Howard Pembroke. Fatima finds earlier surveillance of Callen being beaten at Marshall Davis's office. Anna can't be located. Joelle won't provide any new intel about Katya. Callen promises to let Katya go after they eliminate Pembroke but she refuses. When the team finds the stolen van, it has a monitor with deep fakes of Callen and Sam on a monitor. Callen sees Anna being held on a monitor. Katya tries to convince her to leave Callen. Thanks to trackers, Sam trails Joelle to an office. Joelle says the CIA is tracking not just Katya but Pembroke as well. Kensi suggests going back in time until they find something that is real. Katya shoots Anna. Fatima finds surveillance of where Callen was captured. Joelle and Sam determine that Callen is being held in a shipping container. Anna calls in and is told about Callen. The team opens a container rented by Katya which has a monitor showing Callen and Katya. She pours a chemical into water and Callen starts to choke on the fumes. Sam is convinced it's a deep fake. Katya is preparing a boobytrap in the container where Callen is being held to kill the OSP squad. She leaves a monitor so Callen can watch. Katya insists on lingering to hear the explosion. Joelle tracks and shoots Katya and her accomplice. Sam stops Anna from opening the door and he finds the bomb. Sam defuses the bomb as Anna rushes to Callen. Then they find the bodies.
