Recap

The pilot ejects before a plane crashes. The pilot is Aiden Hanna. Shyla walks in on Fatima praying in a supply room. Rountree informs Kilbride he's agitated because the racist cops that arrested he and his sister are only getting paid time off as a punishment. Raymond's caretaker quits over a disagreement about pancakes. Sam gets a call about Aiden's crash and he and Raymond race to the hospital. The team is recruited to help with the investigation of the crash. But conflict of interest get Sam banned from the investigation. Lt. Commander Hirsch arrives to take Aiden's statement. Aiden was on a test flight. Aiden, who has a concussion, has gaps in his memory about the flight. Hirsch has to have the defensive Sam and Raymond leave Aiden's room. Hirsch informs Aiden that the leading theory in the crash is pilot error. Kilbride electronically locates a witness to the crash who ran. A skittish Jake Primiani from Starling Aviation admits that were bugs during Starling's software package development. Another test flight is about to happen. Aiden recalls that the engine flamed out, causing the autopilot to disengage. A stoner eyewitness confirms that the engine was out, redeploying after Aiden ejected. The base loses contact with the pilot during the second test flight. Aiden's relayed directions help the pilot reestablish control of the plane. Primiani admits that the software package can overload the flight computer, which can cause loss of control. But there had been a patch written to fix that problem.  Sam finds a potential caretaker for Raymond in a friendly nurse. The system's hard drive is missing and Navy mechanic Frazier is at Starling and runs when he sees Callen. Shyla and Sam block Frazier's escape. Frazier wanted to expose the flaw. Hirsch apologizes to Sam.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 4 Quotes

Kilbride: I know this is not my place, Agent Rountree. But it might not get better, even if you do push. Crooked cops have gotten less for doing worse.
Rountree: Much worse.

Shyla: Trying to find privacy around here is really tough.
Fatima: Tell me about it. This [supply room] is the only place I could find to pray.
Shyla: You don't mind doing it in here?
Fatima: Not at all. Anywhere is a place of prayer ... except for washrooms and graveyards.
