- It's been a month and Helen has been away with Mina helpig her get adjusted to London and attending Cambridge.
- Max gets his six month check up and is cleared, but he notices that he lost his wedding ring.
- Helen sends Mina off to Cambridge.
- Mina sits down with her mom. She tells her mother that she wants her to look after Mina, but Helen's mom refuses. She's still bitter about how her ex ran off with another woman and started another family.
- Helen's mother has a bad cough and is coughing up blood. Helen takes her to the clinic to get scans.
- The clinic is going under because of Brexit.
- They call them in to talk to Helen and her mom.
- Max is still looking for his ring. He asks Lauren but she gets distracted by a girl stabbed by a dagger from cosplay gone wrong.
- Layla got in a residency program, but she didn't get a spot at New Amsterdam. She has a spot in Washington.
- Lauren spazzes out when she confronts the head of the department at New Amsterdam. he tells her that she should bribe the doctors to get Layla there. Lauren has a breakdown.
- Layla gets a call from the dean of residency and they say they've opened up another spot for her. Lauren must have paid them off.
- Floyd is tryhing to see Lyn, but he's having a hard time with teh arrangement.
- Floyd bumps heads with a cardo head.
- Max tells Floyd that he can't find his ring when Floyd sees him looking for it in the laundry. Floyd tels him that he was hanging onto the ring out of guilt.
- The head of cardio offers Floyd a job. He accepts it, and then he discovers that Dr. Flores is married to Lyn.
- Iggy and his family are on an RV vacation. Iggy is running away and doesn't want to go back home.
- They have a scare when Samira disappears. Iggy eventually finds her. Shedoesn't want to go back to normal, she likes online school and spending time with her dads.
- Iggy says he won't see patients anymore.
- Karen talks to Max about losing his ring.
- Sandra finds it.
- Max bumps into Helen, she's back. He tells her that he lost his wedding ring fora minute and that it freaked him out.
- Helen's mother had severe bronchitits.
- Max and Helen talk. He tells her about the ring. She gets the wrong idea. He walks her home an dleaves. He puts his ring in hsi pocet, goesback knocks on her door and kisses her.
