Mabel and Oliver talk to Charles to ask him whether he asked Joy about the lipstick. Mabel offers to talk to Joy, but Charles says he will speak to her.

Oliver changes his scarves for a date he and Loretta are going to.

Charles and Oliver realize Mabel is dressed up even if she claims she and Tobert are not going out on a date.

Charles asks Joy about the lipstick before they check out cakes for their wedding. She doesn't answer him as she shifts focus on the fish.

Charles presses about the lipstick, and Joy is offended.

Sazz visits Charles and Joy with an engagement gift. Joy decides to go the cake tasting alone and leaves Charles with Sazz.

Oliver arrives at Loretta's, and she is very anxious as she busies herself with cooking. Michael accidentally releases her folding bed.

Mabel shows up at the hotel. Jonathan performs, and Tobert reveals he thought Jonathan might have killed Ben, but after following Jonathan around, that assessment was wrong.

Sazz and Charlie talk, and Sazz reveals she and Jan still see each other.

Sazz plays a game with Charles so that he may figure out why he is afraid of moving forward with Joyce.

Oliver and Loretta sit down for dinner, and the meat is too tough. Oliver takes a huge bite, and a tooth comes off.

Oliver notices something about Loretta's speech when she says Ben was a "fucking pig."

Mabel and Tobert learn more about each other, including the fact that Tobert wants to put down roots.

Sazz takes Charles through a therapy session, and they figure out that Charles is afraid of being happy, not being with Joy.

He walks back his thoughts about Joy being a murderer.

Loretta and Oliver leave her apartment and take the ferry. They talk about some things from the past and realize they have crossed paths several times in the past forty years.

Mabel and Tobert notice Jonathan talking to some guy, exchanging some articles. Jonathan sees them.

Oliver asks Loretta about "fucking pig," and she reveals that Ben had manhandled her on opening night, and she called him that phrase because he acted like a pig.

They throw Oliver's tooth overboard for the "tooth ferry." They then kiss.

Tobert tells Mabel that the guy Jonathan met was a celebrity doctor who had treated Ben several times.

Joy explains the lipstick mishap, and Charles admits he was the one who punched Ben, leading to him requiring makeup.

Charles accidentally reveals that he proposed by mistake. Joy is heartbroken and calls off the engagement.

Mabel shows Tobert the murder board. They kiss.

Oliver looks around Loretta's place and stumbles across several articles with Ben on them.
