The morning after Jabari's murder, Tariq wakes up at his grandmother's and secures his alibi there with her.

Cane hangs out with Mecca, and GTG members ambush them. Mecca kills all but one who gets away.

Davis and Saxe secure their partnership.

Brayden invites Tariq to his family's hunting weekend. And at the kick-off dinner, he meets Congressman Sweeney.

Monet and Diana go shopping and then switch out the items with product.

After his brother tells him he needs to get himself together, Tate devises a plan to unseat Congressman Sweeney.

The cops find Jabari's body, and lead detective Whitman, who has a prior history with Carrie, traps her and gets her to identify his body. He also asks her for a list of students she and Jabari talked to about the GTG body found in the Stansfield pool.

Monet invites Tariq over for dinner and asks him if he had anything to do with Jabari's death, and he lies to her.

Mecca finds the one GTG member who got away from them earlier. Cane challenges him to a fight and snaps his neck. Later, he finds Mecca's coke and offers to help him move it.

Monet tells Zeke that it's time for him to go pro.

Cane goes to Monet and tells her they have a new connect, but she won't see him. And unbeknownst to him, Mecca is following him.

Davis visits his brother in jail and tells him that he will use Saxe to get him out of jail.

Tariq receives a call on the burner phone he uses for Tasha and picks up. The caller is revealed to be Detective Whitman, who is able to ping his location at Stansfield.
