Ray kills a man who is renting a small cabin and takes Beth in there and explains that wants them to be together, but Beth isn't having it and tries to make an escape from him, but he isn't happy. She sneakily tries to escape again, but it leads to a deadly fight between her and Ray and he finally decides that they might be together in another life.

Jack and Janice leave no stone unturned in the search for her, but they think they are on to something when they look at Ray's old prison videos of him being interviewed. They race to the therapists summer house, but his son is in it with friends having a party.

They agree that he will be nearby and search nearby houses and find the cabin. They split up in the woods and Jack finds Beth, but Ray gets Janice. They go to another house so Jack can patch Beth up, but Ray is in it and sets the house on fire. Janice and Beth escape. but Jack is still inside. He is saved.

Ben survives and Beth apologizes to him in the hospital and confirms to him that Ray is finally gone.
