- A trial date is set for Andy and she gets out on an expensive bail where Jack is there to pick her up.
- Articles and media have reported that a female firefighter has killed a fellow firefighter. She gets swept away in all the terrible comments about her.
- She moves into an apartment.
- Vic has been staying with her for a few days until she gets settled in and stops doom scrolling.
- Theo gets assigned to 19 and Andy is still wondering if she'llg et assigned.
- They're annoyed that Dixon is mayor of the city now and promises to clean it up and make it better.
- Carina and Maya are both supremely nervous that today is the day Carina is getting impregnanted
- Jack comes over and brings them flowers and intends to be there for the process.
- Beckett has Sullivan on all the menial jobs as punishment for reporting him.
- Andy's mother shows up at the station trying to get into contact with Andy which shocks Sullivan and Vic.
- Andy and Ross talk about sexism in their climb to the top and have different views. But Andy is still wondering how everything will affect her future.
- Travis is really wound up about Dixon running for mayor and wants to do something about it.
- Carina and Maya awkwardly set Jack up in the room where he will focus on producing the sperm sample while they'll be in the next room prepping Carina for reception.
- Jack gets an alert from the genetic testing telling him that he has a brother. It's a full match meaning that both his parents had the child and he freaks out trying to process all of this. Carina gets frustrated and says that they're postpoining things again because everyone is distracted.
- Andy gets upset when Ross implies that she's lucky as a WOC that the FD is supporting her right now and that she's suspended pending the result of the trial.
- They respond to a fire at a factory. 19 clears out the room and finds a security guard. The owner of the building spazzes out and wants them to put out the fire and claims that there is no one else in there but they learn from the security guard that it's a sweatshop and there are people in another room.
- They find a bunch of women nearly dying in the room. They talk to Travis about how the man took their passports and have been holding them captive for years all while Dixon shows up and the owner is talking and shaking hands with him.
- Travis goes off on Dixon when he tells ROss what is going on and when Dixon tries to cover or the shop owner and Travis gets pulled away to calm down.
- Andy goes off on Ross about how the whole system is flawed and that everyone else is the problem not her and how she's tired of being told that she should be grateful as a woman of color just to get less than she deserves.
- Carina cries out and is hormonal and accidentally spills Jack's sperm, but she still chooses to go through with everything that day becaue theyr'e all family.
- Ross is affected by Andy's speech and tells Sullivan to stop telling her things and give her space to do her job with boundaries.
- Andy returns home and her mother is there. She breaks down crying in her arms.
- They suggest that Travis should run against Dixon.
- Andy talks to her mother and thanks her for letting her learn how to defend herself. HEr mother shares that it happened to her when she was at the academy but there was no one back then to support her. THey dance it out in the kitchen.
