Theo tells Vic that Beckett called in sick, and she figures that something might be up and takes off despite Theo's annoyance, so she can track Beckett down.

It's election day and they're doing ballots at the station.

Ross asks who is going for captain and Andy, Theo, and Sullivan all step forward.

Vic shows up at Beckett's house and finds him packing things up to give away. She says she's there for a peer to peer check in and wants to make an assessment.

The team responds to a call where a couple who are arguing with each other are trapped in a car in a car wash. Andy makes a move and shows initiative defying Theo's orders to get to the couple and Sullivan follows. r

Vic gets Beckett to open up about his bowling ball team when she sees all the trophies that he's throwing out.

Eli shows up and is still angry about Travis dropping out. Dixon also shows up too claiming he's m aking sure things are running smoothly and fairly.

Sullivan keeps trying to instigate thinks between Andy and Theo. She keeps ignoring Theo's orders and goes against his wishes in her effots to extract the couple even though Theo has gotten word that the machines in the wash may not be all down and safe yet.

Beckett grows more agitated with Vic's presence when she's going through his things and asking questions and bringing up memories. He finally demands she ask her questions, and she asks him if he missed work because he planned on killing himself.

Vic gets Beckett to open up through playing basketball.

Warren tells Ross that he doesn't want the award and Reggie, another person he saved comes in to thank him and give him a trinket for saving his life. He says he took Warren's advice.

They treat a kid who got injured at a Bar Mitzvah.

Maya gives Jack advice about him beign scared of meeting another sibling of his when the first one invited him to dinner.

Vic and Beckett continue to bond. She keeps making last ditch efforts to talk things through to him. She asks him to tell her about his worst day.

Dixon loses the election.

Sullivan and Andy talk. He apologizes for lying to her and remembers how it's a trigger for her, and she reminds him that things weren't always good for their relationship either and he has to stop idolizing it and punishing Ross.

Jack meets her sister and she shows him that she found his foster sister, Lila, who he always talks about and learned sign langauge becaue of.

Vic gets Beckett to go back to rehab, hugs him, and sends him off before sobbing in her car.

Maya and Carina go home.
