Jack talks to Andy and Ross. They say he will never be cleared for duty to be an active firefighter, and he tries to bring up second opinions, but it's too much. He heads to his locker to clean out his locker.

Andy announces to the others that they'll have a dinner for Jack later and gives them their assignments.

Sullivan gives her advice abuot how to be captain.

Theo talks to Kate and tells her that things between him and Vic are over and she jokes about wanting to be with him.

Vic accompanies Beckett to his first Irish Wake after his father died to help him on his first day out of rehab where he'll have to face family and friends in a bar.

After meeting Beckett's family, Vic realizes why he is the way he is. They're a bit classless and drunken.

Eli and Travis go to Emmett and Kitty's home after Dixon's funeral.

Theo and Ben get called to a home for a check up since there was a disturbance. Warren notices that it looks like a fight took place in the house behind the woman who opens the door.

He asks to come in to check her dialysis.

They have vaccine day at the clinic and Jack chastises one of the volunteers who doesn't realize that his foster sister is checking in but needs protection and files private because of her abuser.

Carina reassures him that his vision will stay alive and he feels useless and leaves when things start picking up at the clinic and people need help.

Carina and Maya treat a nanny who has a rash, has a headache, and sick.

Andy has a moment because she's upset that Jack won't be there with her while she's captain. She also notices how great Sullivan is with the kids running through the clinic.

Warren treats the woman and notices fingerprints on her arm. Her son comes in agitated and angry. He demands to know why Warren is there and comes across as aggressive.

Theo talks to the neighbor next door, who admits he called because the woman's son is always flying off the handle. He says the guy is dangerous and pointed his gun at him and his dog last week.

Beckett's family keep making fun of Becket for being sober and keep trying to get him to drink.

They also keep being disrespectful to Vic and assumming that she's dating Beckett.

Emmett and Travis talk about Eli and Emmett says that Travis seems really happy and he doesn't want to mess that up.

Eli leaves early to go back to the office, but Travis stays behind at the Dixon home.

Kate tells Carina that there's a woman who will only be treated by Carina. The woman has a daughter with Cerebral Palsy and says she has a migraine. She wonders why Carina doesn't recognize her, but things pick up and Carina has to leave to assist someone else.

Alice, the nanny starts throwing up and says she and her boyfriend were backpacking around Southeast Asia and she's jetlagged.

Carina orders them to put full gear on, PPE, and lock things down because they may have a patient zero. They contact the CDC.

Maya and Carina are the ones treating Alice while Andy and Natasha talk to the CDC as they figure out what it could be.

Theo warns Ben that there are guns on the premise. He made the call in because of the danger posed.

Things continue to escalate between Connie and her son and her son throws something and then walks out.

Beckett's other cousin, Grace, is politically incorrect but also admits that she's sober too and did it on her own because of some other issues in her life. But she keeps bringing up all the things Beckett used to do while they were drunk.

Kitty keeps making Travis do all the work and clean up. But when he has a moment with Emmett in the kitchen, they can't help themselves and have sex in the kitchen pantry.

Emmett brings up how now Travis is the one cheating like he was and it strikes a nerve with Travis who thinks that things are different.

A brawl breaks out at the bar and one of the nephew's gets hit in the nose which won't stop bleeding. Vic and Beckett help treat it with what's on hand including tampons, but they want to take him to the hospital. He needs to have his wound cauterized and his drunken father decides to do it himself which shocks Vic.

Ben tries to reason with Connie to sign the red flag petetion to temporarily take away her son's guns until he's in a better headspace, and they hear gunfire. Sam is confronting the neighbor and fired his weapon threatening to shoot the dog again. Things are tense and then the cops get there.

After the cops assess the situation, they don't do anytihng because they said it's a "he said/He said" situation and that Sam was just defending himself. He makes a microaggressive statement about the dog and his owner looking scary. Ben calls them out.

Natasha suggests that Alice has Dengue fever, and they test things and confirm that's what it is. They're in the clear and can release everyone else.

Kitty thanks Travis for all his help and has a moment with him telling him that he's a good man which makes him feel guilty.

Sullivan gives one of the kids to give Natasha a note that asks her if she would marry him. Instead of marking yes or no, she writes maybe and sends it back.

Andy reaches out to tell Theo and Warren to pick up Jack who is having dinner with Marsha. They want to have their family dinner to send Jack off.

Someone serves Cariina. The woman with her kid is suing Carina because she was her OB five years ago. Carina starts to freak out with Maya comforting her when they both get texts. They're approved to take Liam home.

Beckett talks to Vic about how he's not sure he can be with his family anymore, and she tells him to join Crisis one and be her righ thand.

Connie comes in to talk to Ben. She wants to start the petiton for the Red Flag because Sam ranted about wanting their neighbor dead and went crazy. She wants them to take Sam's guns.

Andy tells Sullivan that he's running the clinic now.

They pick Jack up and make a whole show of it with Marsha's help. They bring him back to the station for dinner and cake.

Carina and Maya come in with baby Liam.

And then Andy hands him the marker to writehis name under the table.

They all cuddle pile him under the table as he cries.
