On this episode of Supernatural…

Dean and Castiel convince Crowley to help them save Dean from Gadreel in exchange for his freedom.

Metatron continues giving Gadreel a list of people to kill, including his best friend.

Gadreel is captured, and Crowley manages to enter Sam’s mind. He is able to help Sam realize he is in a dream and expel Gadreel.

Gadreel returns to his original vessel.

Abaddon arrives, and Crowley buys Sam, Dean and Castiel time to escape. The battle for leadership of Hell begins.

Dean takes the blame for Kevin’s death and the bad things that have happened. He chooses to leave and take on Gadreel alone.
