Devon meets up with Julian on the morning of his wedding to tell her he isn't moving to San Francisco and he's uncertain about Priya. She tells him that she won't be the reason he ruins his relationship with Priya and leaves.

Julian is with Gordon when he gives a presentation and lies about QuoVadis making their own product. When he moves on, she doubles back and sees they for labs and everything he was showing everyone was just for show. She contacted the FDA and asks for whistle blower protection. She agrees to meet up, but instead she is taken to Gordon.

He tells her that he hates betrayal and that he has people at the FDA. He takes her phone and lets her go, but she is run off the road and crashes.

Everyone notices that Devon is not looking forward to the wedding. His mother talks to him after he makes a comment that leads her to believe he's only going through with it to make his parents proud.

She tells him about the man she loved before she was arranged to marry Devon's father. She tells him to follow his heart and do what's best for him.

Devon goes to Priya and tells her about Julian and that he doesn't think they should get married. The wedding is called off.

Conrad tends to an older gentleman and the relationship between the man and his daughter makes him wish he was that close to Marshall. Marshall collapses when they are walking through the new free clinic. He is rushed to the hospital, and reveals that he has suffered from Crohn's Disease for years.

Marshall puts Conrad in charge of his healthcare when he has to have surgery. Nic urges Conrad to be a support to his father. Conrad and Marshall talk about the past, and Marshall tells Conrad about his mother cheating on him but him knowing that he let them down.

Conrad tells his father he loves him before leaving for the wedding, but Marshall ends up sick again and Bell is the only one who can operate on him. Marshall's surgery takes a turn for the worst..

Bell takes money from Gordon to help him with Lane against his attorney's wishes. As part of the deal, he has to agree to have his image and the hospital used for QuoVadis. He's unaware of the company's fraud.
