Starting at a house in Lawrence and a little girl calls her mom because she can't find her doll, and she's disappointed because she won't come home.

In a sack in the middle of the room is the girl's stuffed rabbit, and she goes to sleep happy. Unfortunately, there's something else in the sack, and the little girl screams.

Mary's stuck on how to find her dad, but John isn't one to give up so easily.

Mary admits that the last time she talked to her dad, they got into a big argument about quitting hunting.

Ada is still trying to find the demon that possessed her.

Carlos tells Mary about cop cars being in front of her neighbor's house. She watches the kids when she can since the mom is always out of town.

John knows one of the cops working on the case, and they have a history.

Mary talks to the other kid, the brother, and he tells her he saw an arm pull his sister into a sack and disappear into thin air.

John and Mary check out the house, and the two get to talking about what they wanted to be when they were younger. Though for Mary, her only option was killing monsters.

The two find part of the sack on the ground.

The monster searches through a pile of kids' toys.

Mary places hex bags around the house to ensure it's even more monster-proof than before.

The little boy, Ford, blames himself for losing his sister Carrie and wants to find her. He knows the hex bags aren't just for good luck. So Mary gives him the "The Talk," but more suited for children.

While staking out the demon, Carlos and Ada are successful and trap him in the van with a devil's trap.

Lata shares her findings on the folklore with John and Mary, coming across a type of Boogeyman.

Ford finds the sack on the ground on porch and finds Carrie's hairclip. Unfortunately, he's soon the mosnter's latest victim.

After realizing that Ford is missing, Mary goes off on her own to lure out the monster, even though John pleads with her not to.

A sack appears in front of Mary, and when she takes out a cowboy hat, she's pulled right in before John can save her.

Mary wakes up in the monster's lair/home and gets to business.

Carlos and Ada try to get information from the demon but exorcise him into a plant when he's no longer useful.

Carrie and Ford try to get away from the monster, but luckily, Mary comes in clutch.

Mary, Carrie, and Ford try to lay low until Lata and John can save them.

Lata takes a family phone call, but we don't know much about it.

John tries to get a hold of Mary through some type of frequency, and she and the kids try to find it through one of the radios that the monster has taken. And they are soon reunited through the radio.

Carrie and Ford rip up their belongings that they have with them and are brought back to the real world. Mary, meanwhile, is unable to burn her dad's hat, and she is soon caught by the monster.

Mary has to willingly let go of her dad or the hat, and John suggests she let go of what comes after they find Samuel. She admits that if they find her dad, she's done hunting. If she gives up hunting, she doesn't know who she is.

Mary gives in to her feelings and is able to burn the hat. She comes back to John, Lata, and the kids safe and sound.

The monster comes back, but not for long, as John slices its head off, and Carrie gives it one last stomp.

Betty gives John back his ring, and he admits he was too young and falling too fast. Betty still wants to be friends, and they start fresh.

Carlos and Ada found out that the leader of the Akrida is disguised as a human.
- A radio DJ named Roxy is assumed to be the Akrida's leader as she takes care of another monster.
