Mindhunter Trailer: How Does Crazy Think?

at . Comments

As if I didn't already love Friday the 13th more than any girl should.

It's about to take a step up.

Friday, October 13th is the day Mindhunter will be released on Netflix.

Agents Need Help

Starring Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany as two FBI Agents modeled after FBI criminal profiler John Douglas and FBI Agent Robert K. Ressler who coined the term "serial killer," it's based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit.

It's a period piece that takes us back to a time all the hoopla around the madmen to whom we've otherwise become so accustomed thanks to prolific programming on networks like Discovery ID was nonexistent.

A Close Shave

The best line from the trailer? "How do we get ahead of crazy if we don't know how crazy thinks?"

Nobody understood the motivation of men who killed, or saw their faces plastered on TVs.

The behavioral analysis of creatures like them was in its infancy.

Anna Torv also makes her return to US television with the Netflix series, and she's been missed, hasn't she?

Her character is a psychologist based on Dr. Ann Wolbert Burgess.

David Fincher is bringing us this incredible series and we don't have too much longer to wait.

Check out the trailer now and let us know if it's one you'll be tuning into the night it airs.

Netflix Quotes

Jonathan: I notice a little bit of dryness on your cheek.
Tom: That’s my Lupus.
Jonathan: Okay, let’s talk about that a little. One thing I know about Lupus is that it’s all about SPF. Like, we have to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays because sun actually can cause inflammation and flare ups for people with Lupus.
Tom: Right...
[Cut to Jonathan’s confessional]
Jonathan: How you take care of yourself is how the world sees you, and he’s not taking care of himself.

Bobby: We are about to pull in. What’s our mission today with Tom?
Jonathan: We’re gonna dust off these Christmas ghosts’ pasts of these relationships, we’re gonna sort out his closet, we’re gonna get him cuter, we’re gonna get him looking good, we’re gonna get the house fixed up. We’re ready! We cannot wait. Am I right?
All: Yes!
