Station 19 Trailer: Meredith Grey Helps Save the Day

at .

Station 19 is the highly anticipated spinoff of ABC's Grey's Anatomy.

The series will focus on the workers of a Seattle firehouse that is located just three blocks down from Grey Sloan Memorial.

In the explosive trailer that was released during Thursday's TGIT, we get to see all of the characters in action.

Jaina Lee Ortiz takes on the role of Andy Herrera who decides to take over a Captain of Firehouse 19 after her father has a brush with death while on the job.

That brush with death puts her in contact with Meredith Grey who helps her through one of the most challenging times of her life.

Help From Meredith

While Andy may know what she wants out of her career, it appears that she does not know which of two men she would like to date.

In the trailer alone, she finds herself getting close to Grey Damon's Jack Gibson.

By the end, however, she's with a different man and seems confused about which of the men she likes more.

Yes, this show comes from Shonda Rhimes so that you can expect a whole lot of relationship drama.

Station 19 Quotes

Travis: Did you know that for most of my life I thought that it was my fault that you hated me, that I had done something wrong. For you to never come to any of my wrestling matches or meet any of my friends, not coming to my wedding and making mom follow suit. I just I couldn’t figure out why you hated me so much.
Paul: Travis, I could never hate you.
Travis: I know. I mean I know that now. You actually hate yourself. I just wish it didn’t take you so long to figure that out because that night with the soup, I could have used a dad that loved me, who loved himself, but instead, you just walked away.
Paul: I didn’t know what to say.
Travis: You should have said, ‘You’re loved. You’re supported, and the way you feel and how you love is valid. It’s important. You are important. And whoever you love or whatever path you take, I’m gonna be here for you without question or pause or judgment. I’m here for you, and I love you.’

I can't do it again, Ryan. I can't bury another parent.
