Season Finale Pregnancy Shocker Ahead ... But Who?!

by at . Comments

A character on a popular one-hour drama is going to be pregnant on the season finale of her show. That's according to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. But who is it?

Apparently it’s a series that gets a lot of PR on sites like EW and this one, and "its rabid following is one of the scariest, most enthusiastic around." Hmm ... Gossip Girl maybe?

Oh, and the character who is expecting is perhaps the last one you’d expect.

Any theories? We've thrown out a few below ... submit yours and we'll add it!

B the Beauty
  • Blair Waldorf or Serena van der Woodsen, Gossip Girl: Either Upper East Sider would work as both are in sizzling relationships, and GG is due for a bombshell.
  • Jenny Humphrey, Gossip Girl: Because it's Gossip Girl, you have to expect the unexpected and the "OMFG" at the same time. High school junior J would do it!
  • Ella Sims, Melrose Place. We can see a "who's the father" angle there. We would also like to see more love scenes involving Katie Cassidy. Was that out loud?
  • Elena Gilbert, Vampire Diaries. Which Salvatore is the dad? The plot thickens!
  • Nora Walker, Brothers & Sisters. Life begins at 65? Would certainly be a TV first.
  • Alicia Florrick, The Good Wife. Given her marriage, that would be unpredictable.
  • Addison Montgomery, Private Practice. They already did it with Violet, but hey.
  • Ditto various Glee scenarios. They wouldn't do that twice in one season, right?
  • M. Allison Hart, NCIS. Gibbs' big decision: knocking up Rena Sofer's character?
  • Meredith Grey, Grey's Anatomy. Baby McDreamy? Too perfect ... and obvious.
  • Lexie Grey, Grey's Anatomy. Now we're talking.

Comment with your theories and we'll add them to the list above!

Sorry, but vampires can not procreate, even though the love trying. Could be Caroline with Matt as the father, um Damon and Bonnie (she is supposed to be a very powerful witch, maybe Vampires can procreate with Witches!? *shurg*

smileyglen Says: I read on another site that Shonda is going to make a threesome out of Mark, Callie and Arizona with wedding bells. The source of this gossip was given by Shonda Rhimes on her Twitter account. So this is from the horses mouth so to speak, ... I've been reading Shonda's tweets, she didn't mention anything like this! She only said bumps are on the way and/but she's commited to the couple and they're ment for each other (so, no worries, I guess?!). :)

I think Chandra's pregnancy was the only real life pregnancy that was written into GA. Chyler and Ellen's preganancy were hidden. It's possible that Jessica is pregnant, and they'll hide it. I think it would be interesting that a broody Torres could turn to broody Sloan to make a baby with. But the newly perfect couple of Torres and Robbins could be shaky if that were to happen. Shonda is full of GA don't do babies, so I don't think it's a Grey's character. But i am hoping that when MerDer leave at the end of S8 there'll be a baby on the way for them

i want it to be serena/nate's baby or Blair/Chuck's. but i think it will be jenny.......because she is very young and she was always the smart one who knows what she is doing. so i think she and damien will have the baby.....

Okay I'll say it, I know everybody is thinking it, the season finale pregnancy shocker will be Nora Walker from Brothers and Sisters.

Okay... Two possiblities...
Ziva- Who can forget that night in Paris where Tony and her possibly shared a bed? ;D That would make me soooooooooooo happy! A little Tiva, or Zony, kid. ;D (gets giddy)
Callie- I hate to admit it but she wants kids and I am soooo sooo sooo leaning towards Mark as the baby daddy... even though I want Mark and Lexie back. They both want kids and stuff. Crap.

I really want Meredith to be pregnant. It would be a challenge now that she is focusing on her career and Derek is the new chief. I don't think they would be as happy as many would think about it and it could be interesting to see how it would play out if Meredith ended up wanting the baby but Derek wasn't THAT would be a twist....

please let it be lexie ( greys anatomy) and it would obviusly be from mark...a major drama ( he and lexie aren´t together anymore :( bummer) and she would try to keep quiet but then he finds out and he thinks it from alex but it isn´t ...cause it would be from the time when he and lexie were together

totally alicia, her a nd peter or hopefully will

As much as I want Addie to have a baby, I really don't want it to be with Pete (or have Pete as a possibility). So unless she can be sure it's *not* his, then I don't want it to be Addie.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
