Season Finale Pregnancy Spoiler: The Field Narrows!

by at . Comments

Monday, we told you about an item posted by EW regarding a character's "shocking" pregnancy being revealed on the upcoming season finale of one popular, hour-long drama.

The only question, of course, is which show, and which character. We weighed in with a bunch of possibilities last week, and it looks as if some of them are still on the table.

EW just nixed some of our predictions (The Vampire Diaries) by releasing a short list of contenders, though our top two guesses (Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy) remain.

A couple of possibilities we hadn't considered.

The big season finale pregnancy takes place on one of these:

  • Grey's Anatomy
  • House
  • Bones
  • Chuck
  • Gossip Girl
  • Smallville
  • NCIS
  • Glee
  • Lost

Which of the above shows do you think will end its season with a pregnancy shocker - and which character(s) do you think will be involved? Share your theories!

Ausiello just tweeted that it won't be anyone from Smallville, so Smallville's officially off the hook.

i dont think it would be glee because the whole 1st half of the season had to do with babies (terri and quinn), and i dont think that it will be lost because its in its final season. i think that the pregnancy will be on greys anatomy. i hope its meredith and dereks, theyre so cute together:)

Greys Anatomy. But who? I think either: Derek and Meredith Mark and Teddy Owen and Cristina Alex and Lexie Ben and Bailey But I just pretty much listed all of te couples on Grey's Anatomy so :P. One of them should hae a baby together

i think that it is cameron on house

It might be Cuddy on House too! Lucas could be the father.. Yikes!!

If Ziva is pregnant, I hope it aint Tony's. Maybe it's Gibbs!!!! I hope....

Dr. Temperence Brennan gets pregnant. It was hinted about her pregnancy in season 4.

PS. The babies come from Paris, like Tony and Ziva did, after "sleeping" in the same hotel room.

It's definetly ZIVA. Paris will be remembered forever. Though it would be awsome to see Brennan pregnant, but that is impossible because this season is almost finished and she didn't sleep with anyone. I love all this shows except Lost (is terrible), and i've never seen Glee, but it will start soon here in Portugal, I hope I'll like it. Every show should have a pregnancy... GREAT

Okay so I really only watch Grey's Anatomy so I don't know what is going on in the other shows but I feel that while Shonda Rhimes has said that grey's does not do babies that you can't completely rule it out. I mean while Meredith is more career focused she has talked about kids with Derek so I don't know, it would change their plans.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
