  1. Chair???

(it doesnt put my whole comment:( )ok first of all it's a tv show breathe in breathe out breathe in breathe out phewww (saying it as much to myself as you) Ok. so first GG would be nothing without Chair and even though BLAIR says CHUCk doesnt make her happy or whatever she still loves him, otherwise she wouldnt have come to him in the end of s3 after what he did with jack (this was before she knew about the jenny thing) and she told him she came because she loved him and love over comes everything bla bla bla:
    1. so firstly what Chuck did was unforgivable, he was violent with blair and there are no excuses 2.Blair is NOT THE GOOD GIRL ,, these past episodes are making her look like she is the "good girl" when really she is the female version of chuck.Blair has done such bad things, and we need to remember that she is not """innocent""" 3.Blair has grown up

oi, commie, im a neuro surgeon who graduated top of my class and I would still like chair to be endgame. Guess this is the end of your theory

  3. Gleekygeek

If Chuck wants Blair he needs to change cause right now I'm done with him.

  4. Kwat

    Far too unrealistic**

Remember in Paris when Blair didn't want to date Louis when she thought he was just a driver? Despite the feelings she felt for him? I love Blair and seeing her this happy, but I think she's fooling herself. She's turned her dream into an actual fairytale...one that is far too realistic. Endgame relationships take more than 4 days to form. She wants her prince, so I think she's trying to literally get one.

@90: Yes, I already knew that. I guess I have always been a little invested in the TV shows that I see but with GG it reached another level. I tell you, I should have known better considering my experience with The O.C., I was pretty mad when Marissa died, the minute I saw that I knew that the show was going down the sink, and it got cancelled later. I had no idea how much it affected me, only realized after I started seeing the same thing in GG. When Chuck was shot it was a bit scary because of the similarity but I didn't got scared that much because I actually found it more similar to the clifthanger of the Season 3 of Dallas, the whole "Who shot J.R.?" (I was 5 when Dallas was still airing after that, but over the years I have read about that clifthanger, it was a phenomenom). Yet this time they didn't need to actually kill a major character, they just did character's assasination. Unbelievable! And long and slowly, like before this, I could see the light at the end of the tu

I love Blair and everything but to say shes growing up seems wrong to me. She proclaimed how grown up she is becoming as usual in this episode but it couldn't be more juvenile to decide you want to marry some prince after a few days. The only storyline that made sense in this episode is that Charlie likes Dan cause I mean, shes gotta get after someone, thats how gossip girl is.

    1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from last night?

I can tell you what my least favorite quote was...

Blair: I can be the next Grace Kelly!
It was desperate. And in reality it wouldn't have convinced anyone. Blair doesn't need to be anyone but Blair.

    2. Who are you more disappointed in, Serena or Chuck?

I never held any esteem for Serena or her actions so I wasn't disappointed, just irritated. She needs to take a step and realize that she's a very selfish person. As for Chuck...I already said all I needed to say about him in my last comments but let's just say I'm not a Chair fan anymore. Poor B.

    3. Is Charlie the new Georgina (resident crazy girl in training)?

Yes. Her mom hinted at it. Now that we're finding out the lengths she'll go to get Dan, some guys she's known for like 2 weeks...She's far in Georgina-territory.

    4. Will Blair actually marry Prince Louis?

She's 20! I don't want her marrying anyone for heavens sake! What happened to Columbia

Is there an episode that actually shows what has happened between Blair and Jack? Sorry to bother all of you, but I've just started to watch GG, and I'm a big Blair and Chuck fan. Therefore, it bugs the crap out of me to know that Blair would actually do something w/Chuck's uncle. Thank you for your respone. And - BLAIR AND CHUCK FOREVER!

    Here's how I feel:

Let's be clear. Gossip Girl is a completely different reality from what any of us are used to. I remember back in Season 1 when they would walk into bars as 16, 17 year olds and be served alcohol simply because they were that elite. Having said that, I feel that a lot of the plot lines are comparable to this alternate sense of reality, yet some of it really is COMPLETELY out there. Let's start with Serena. Her whole backstory has been her being a reformed bad girl, yet at times the bad girl side comes out in full swing. She's been spoiled her entire life and the one thing on this show that she has always had and cared for is Dan. She immaturely felt betrayed by Blair. I think, after one attempt at foiling Blair's happiness, she should've stopped. To keep it going just really showed her hatefulness, especially after Blair kept confiding in her how happy and excited she was. However, in the alternate reality that is GG, her actions made sense.

    Chuck. To be quite

    @Heddy

A HA HA HA HA!!! I love your comment, it is all so true, it can all be a dream sequence...and so true, bringing all those girls to the states?

  16. aba

This all episode was sad. I´am a big fan of chair and I hope they wil end together. This episode was all confusing to me I think the producers are always trying to change chuck every season but it´s obviously that Blair and Chuck will end together.

  17. ls.. sap

i think that chuck was a better person withoyt blair, as we saw him with eva. the annoying thing is that despite eva was a prostitute who tried to take his moeny , chuck was affected by her , became a better person with heart and became happy when all those things should have been the results of his relationship with blair . so it is kind of insulting that he claims he loves blair more than anyone and in the same time she is not sacred to him as raina(who were just having sex)and he is becoming the worst person around her and treats her like crap along with the rest of the world. And we all know how miserable blair became because of chuck no need to repeat.so instead of repeating the devastated chair history i would like to see them finally move on for their own good.
As for dair, i m disapointed from both of them. first blair who was always badmouthing about how serena treated dan badly she now do the same , she cuts him off after she got what she wanted, the kiss and she became too

@Lulu : Reality needs to come and smack Josh on his face. He has no idea what he is talking about. Chuck has crossed a line and there is no going back. This goes beyond Chair shipping or even GG. It goes to the heart of debate that GG has glorified domestic abuse if this is treated as a non-issue and producers act like this is no big deal.
I dont care whether B ends up with Chuck, Nate, Dan, Rufus, Jack or even Bart for that matter. What I care about is how young girls are glorifying the abuse and some even going to says its hot or sexy!!

@ Deathof Chair: I am sorry to hear that you went thru something like this. I do agree that this is not the time of thinking that girls shud have!

This Vanessa hatred is getting silly, especially since Nate has spent more time over the past two seasons in bed rather than standing up. But, I guess, since he's in the "in," he will never be called-out for what he is: useless.

The writers have done a bad job with both these characters, and with Rufus too.

    GO BLOUIS!!!!!!!

  21. Lulu

Okay, this seals it, from BB2's link--Josh Safran is actually insane and/or stupid:
"He punches the glass because he has rage, but he has never, and will never, hurt Blair,"
"We all make mistakes. No one goes through perfectly," Safran recently told Zap2it. "I don't think that Chuck necessarily needs to be redeemed so much as he actually needs to find his way, which is different."

Josh, how can we break this down for you? When a guy grabs a gal and throws her down on a sofa, swings his fist in "rage" and ends up breaking a window that cuts her face, HE IS HURTING HER. He has committed assault and battery, Josh, you hapless fool. Blair should never again be part of him "finding his way" unless you do, in fact, do something to "redeem" him. Something like therapy for anger management, extensive apology and recompense, and probably some kind of alcohol rehab. Otherwise, YOU ARE CELEBRATING ABUSE if Blair can just forgive and move on past this. You are teaching all those junior high

  22. Joyce

More which made me more angry is that I'm SURE that Blair will forgive Chuck again. What I always liked on Gossip Girl was the personality of B. She went after what she wanted, not let anyone even think of doing anything with her, especially if placed on top of all. And now she has become a zero, is constantly humiliated by Chuck and always forgives him. If you stay in the sole of the shoe of someone always being crushed by direct he is love, so I do not even want to imagine what is hate. I watching the episode and ask me: What happened to Blair? Where's the girl who fought, gave the change and NEVER lowered his head? If you think I'm "overreacting" see:
Season 1: Chuck spread to everyone that Blair slept with him and N. the same week. And also likened him to his father's old mare (q okay he made a toast beautiful for her) more then he left her waiting for him while he slept with some girl.
2nd season: He saw that she was happy with Marcus tried to destroy, he called her a "plunger"

  23. Platypus

I'm sorry but I have to come in Vanessa's rescue. Where does this hatred come from people? How can you hate someone who only tried to open her best friend's eyes but failed more than someone who traded his girlfriend to his uncle for a bloody hotel? Seriously, I like every character of this show (except maybe Jenny, but it might be because of Taylor Momsen and not the storyline) and Dan is for sure the one that I'm always happy to see. But come on, would you really give up so easily on a childhood friend for some blond rich brainless girl who spends way too much time on her back? When Vanessa told Dan that she wasn't the one who sent this (very believable) scandal about Serena having an STD, he chose to believe Serena. If I were in this situation, this friendship would have been over right at that instant. And of course, she wanted revenge (who doesn't in this show?) but afterwards, she tried to apologize, she still wanted to be Dan's friend. And now who are his true friends now? Seren

@ commie, I like Chair and I'm a university graduate working in the government. Oops, there goes your theory.

P.S. I am in a great relationship and would allow no man to ever abuse me. Just a reality check for you... you are aware this is a TV show? These aren't real people.

    @pty
You're too emotionally invested in this, and I can say the same about many fans. But if it's any consolation, read on...

Chuck is a very central character, or they would have long ago turned him into a pathetic nate. Whether we like where Chuck's story is going, the fact remains is he is never marginalized as a character. They know they have plenty of time on their hands, so they are taking their time to play out Chuck's story. It bothers fans because 1) it's taking rather long, and 2) it often involves nonsensical 'revelations' and 'twists'... And since it is indeed taking rather long, they can't really keep B on ice indefinitely. Therefore, they need to exploit various (often nonsense) 'possibilities' for B, labeling them as "character growth", "moving on", "tired", "4 years in the making", "prince/shmince", etc. What else would you have B do while they are putting Chuck through the meatgrinder? Be there for him all the time? That's boring. They want drama in your face. Dadd
