I have been very disappointed in the writing as of the past two seasons.......Ziva domesticated so no more funny English snafus, McGhee almost non existent last season, Tony neutered....shall go on? What made the cast fun was the bantering, etc......that's been written out almost completely.....no long time fan wants Barrett back or Palmer made into a main character. If you want to bring someone back who had an interesting potential storyline it would be Col. Mann....

Why does Gibbs get insulted when asked if he was in the VietNam
'War', because he(Mark Harmon) was born in Sept. 2,1951 same month
and year I was and I had many friends of that same age in VietNam.

Ok I know EJ is the port to port killer and we will find that out down the road. I would love to see Abby from the CGIS make a return. It wouldnout hurt my feelings to see Vance be a victim of the Port to Port killer.
Please dont mess things up by making the Autopsy Gremlin get married we dont need a hallmark moment. It just does not fit the format. I agree I would love to see some back ground on Ducky and Abby, that would be excellant

the romance between ziva and tony is cute. hoping that they will manage to find their own rules in their personal feelings and pursuit of justice. but as long as they are in gibbs team, it is gibbs way.

so... im a huge fan of ncis and i am highly anticipating this next season. I really love that Gary talked about the team banding together, i think that is one of the coolest parts of the show. I love the investigation side of ncis and i love that team/family aspect. I think all of the interpersonal relationships add dimension to the characters. one thing i wish they did do, which i know someone commented on before, was show more of ziva kicking ass. she is by far my favorite character and i just wish that they kind of tapped into that 'old ziva' character a little more. All in all though i am SO SUPER EXCITED.

Love the show. In South Africa I have to download the seasons from the internet. Season 6 is on here at the moment. A bit slow for me as a fan.

I thought the season ending would reveal Shannon & Kelly had been in Witness Protection Program and Gibbs finally found out after he confessed to killing the drug kingpin, I think no one will ever be good enough for him other than his Shannon

If would love to slap Tony on the face for real. Mark Harmon, what a hunk, just like Sean Connery, the older he gets the better he gets. Love Ziva, she is strong and strong willed and great for the show. Ducky is loveable, would be great to do a flash back on how he started with NCIS. Tim and Abby, not sure if they would be great as a couple.
Can't wait for season 9 to start, but of course it will start here (Australia) later than the US.

I have been a die hard fan since episode one. The eye candy alone would keep me watching but the way every character evolve makes ncis the rightful #1 show. I'm looking forward to season 9 and palmer getting

i seriousily love this show even though i have only watched season 6,7 and 8 but what i don't understand is why ppl want to see tony and ziva together. From having watched the last 3 seasons i felt like that they have more of a brother sister type relationship.

i agree with Superman on pretty much everything!!!!!!!!!!! even though she's been in America for a while, Ziva still has MADDDDD skills and she needs to show them wayyy more often. and McGee, hes a special agent for a reason, they need to show what he can do! CI-Ray= NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,, he's gotta go, hopefully Eli isn't pulling another "Michael" incident, Ziva will go crazzzzzayyyyy.

I have to start out by saying..I think that abby is the cutest thing on the TV and for Ziva, pleasnt dreams of her at night.
I don't think that a romance between team members would be good for the show,keep it as it is. EJ is a spy and Tony will have to deal with her,but will not be sorry for it.
I do beleive that Gibbs do need to get involed with a nice person as Shadon was,this would be good for the show,and I hope Palmer has a good marriage, also Duckie needs to have more romantic relationship, I'm pretty sure that Duckie will see where the arm was cut open and something remove and brings it up to Gibbs and that Gibbs will know what Tony is working on but will not let it be known until the end. COME ON SEPT 20th

What with the tongue in cheek reference to Ducky as a young man looking like Ilia Kuriacken, why not bring Robert Vaughn on for an episode or two as
either a bad guy or a friend of Duckies?

I think Gary Glasburg is a class act! I really like his writing and the way he's running the show. He's a big improvement on Shane Brennan.
I love that Gary has given us back the Tony we loved so much from the early days. I hated what Brennan did to the character, turning him into a complete idiot who was only there to suffer putdowns by Ziva and for the others to mock. He wasn't a competent NCIS agent anymore - he was just there for cheap laughs. I feel sorry for Weatherly having to act that awful stuff.
I also like that Glasburg has dropped the heavy handed Tiva. A lot of people can't stand it and think it dragged the show down. I'm not keen on McAbby either - I don't think the show needs these silly romances or constant accusations of jealousy.
I am really glad GG is talking about a return to the team caring about each other and pulling together and having each others backs. That's been missing for a long time.
I hope we see lots more Tony and Gibbs and Tony/Gibbs scen

Lots of good ideas and fallout I have seen above. My interest is in Tony/Ziva 'sealing the deal' as one put it. I have great faith in the writing and the actors abilites to pull it off which ever way they choose to take it. They obviously have already 'done it once' while undercover. I don't recall where it was however. I HATED to see Franks go. Just wanted to add that this, IMHO, is the best show going right now.

Ducky – This character needs to surprise the Heck out of us all ! There is so much potential to what can be done with him, that it makes it a hard call as to where to go. I’ll think about it, and post, again, later.

Palmer – This guy needs a very cute, to the point of distraction kind of cute, wife. She can be thrown in around Tony and McGee to trip them up, etc. She might even hold a surprise at how supportive she can be from a different occupation – No super secret spy, or double agent, trying-to-kill-everybody nonsense this time around – Palmer needs a break.

Vance – While a hard character to get to know and like, he grounds the crew politically and as a head figure to the organization that makes tough choices in D.C. He is the only character with a spouse at home, and children – this might have to become a focal point with his wife being diagnosed with a near-fatal or fatal illness. It’s time to bring a little light into his past, and put him in the field on assignment, or running the team for Gibbs, while Gibbs is otherwise indisposed – show he can walk the walk.

Ziva – CI-Ray needs to die… Kort can have him in Tel Aviv, for all we care. Face it, Ziva is HOT, and it’s time for her to hit some uncomfortable roles – Undercover as a stripper, call girl, or sent to prison that brings her some unwanted attention – Tony can even come to the rescue. After a night out with Abbey, she could wake up with a tattoo…and a call for speculation as to what might have happened between them ? Her daddy might be coming up on retirement from the Mossad – maybe even a move to the political arena or deeper into the Intelligence world, perhaps a mysterious disappearance. She needs to sharpen her super-ninja skills, and it might scare Tony and/or Gibbs as to what they see or learn.

McGee – Time for Tim to Man-UP !! He needs to take down a bad guy with his bare hands, no-holds barred fight to the death – which would end his “Probey” days forever. He needs command experience, again – a “crewman #5” (Sorry for the Star Trek reference) to be a Probey, for a while, only to lose him/her while being somewhat in charge, AND he has to get over it. He and Abbey have a past, but they're both way past it… time to stop alluding to it.
