[CONT 2] Diana's speech was touching to say the least! I love her, and over the course of the past few episodes, I've grown to lover her even more. She's the Caroline of this show, and she really knows how to make you emotional with all the right reasons. We see her kissing Lee in the next episode, but I wouldn't take that much to heart. Nor would I take Faye and Jake having that hook up to heart either.

Jake still likes Cassie, and I don't think he'll give up on her that easily. However, with his intentions of revenge, I can totally see him becoming the Damon of this show.

Next week's episode looks great, and it's Valentines no doubt! Except, in much darker and scarier way. I definitely agree when you said that last night's episode will leave an imprint on the next episodes to come. After all, we're only two episodes left till [SPOILER ALERT] Cassie's father comes to town. I'm excited, and this show has gotten so good since the Pilot!

[CONT]I really liked Adam tonight. He was the cautious one and just didn't want to see Cassie get herself or the Circle in danger. You mentioned how you'd wondered how the Circle would be like had Cassie not come, I think Adam gave us that insight. Before she came, they went about learning who they were secretly and slowly without exposing any risk to themselves. Cassie was a great addition, because now it's pushing them forward at a much faster pace. Do you really think they would have found out the real truth about what happened 16 years ago without Cassie? I don't. They would have stuck to their assumption.

Melissa is finally over Nick, but she's rebounding to a guy, dark and dangerous. I liked how Faye seemed to be protective of her though when she saw Callum and Melissa exchanging flirty glances. I totally think she's the second child of Blackwell if it's not Diana. [CONT...]

I have to disagree with you about Cassie. The way she acted in last night's episode was mind blowing. She can pull off the dark and creepy side of her, and very well at that! The way she stood up to Lucy was brilliant and her last line at the end of the episode "Daddy" gave me chills. Also, you can't exactly blame Cassie for having some trust in Lucy, because it was Lucy who tried to get her out of the boat 16 years ago and before the met up with her in the woods, the Circle agreed on it together to all go. And if it counts for anything, Lucy even had me fooled.

Did anyone else not feel like Jake was pulling a Damon move when he called Faye? He was frustrated that Cassie can't trust him like he'd want her to anymore, and he let out his frustration in a sexual way with the girl he knows wouldn't object to it. When Damon got frustrated he'd either do the same exact thing or kill someone. [CONT...]

I really started out liking this show but sadly I no longer think it has any direction. Cassie is the main character the series revolves around but yet she is plain, boring, and she at times acts bipolar and crazy and doesnt care about anyone but discovering her black magic. The show is doing an awufl job at presenting a core relationship which like it or not is what drives a lot of shows (vampire diaries elana and stephan). There is to much emotion flipflopping going on, one minute cassie is pining over jake then back to adam, adam is pining over cassie but yet there are still moments he pines over diana, jake is suppossedely "in love" with cassie and the moment she gets mad at him for killing witches he moves on to faye...really?? its confusing and leaves me not rooting for any couple.

Do you even know anything about the Secret Circle? have you read the books? This show is great, Cassie is handling the situation as best she can. And yes she and Adam are so meant for each other its ridiculous. Read a book why don't you.

Jake by himself isn't the greatest actor! But the way the other members interact with him is giving the show an edge. The indifference Jake is showing makes him really approachable and wanting to get to know him. Fake is by the way hot!
The appearing of Lucy the psychic is a real game-changer. The dawn-charles dynamic of the show is one of the highlights.really makes my day. Dawn being bitch number one,is really great.
Dianna is a delight. A real sweetheart. who wouldn't feel for her, torn between her emotions!
Dellisa! What a Joke!? It was pretty obvious Melissa is going Junky! She is the weak link! XD
I disagree with the review, for me Brit really shows the struggle! And she is slowly letting her inhibitions go and she has to! And her power give her strenght! Emotional strenght which takes her further and makes face things!!

Episode was pretty ok, had some WOW moments. Britt may has improved as an actress but i still dont believe her acting and there is something which makes me dislike a character of Cassie. Adam and Cassie, i dont like it and i dont feel a chemistry. Diana is really a golden child, she is too good for Adam who is too good for Cassie. Jake and Cassie have a chemistry, but i still want Jake and Faye as a endgame. Their scenes made me happy. Melissa is not getting a good storyline btw.

Cassie's improving but nowhere near as good as she should be. Cassie should have learned from trusting Diana's grandma to not trust Lucy. Faye's awesome. Faye's the audience surrogate. Diana's too good of a person. Melissa is going back to low self-esteem sex object again. Ethan was really creepy.

  10. Diana

I really like this show... You have to give it more time to fully develop. It hasn't been on so long that I would give up on it. I like Britt Robertson in this show way more than in her previous role in Life Unexpected. Even though I really liked her in that as well, The Secret Circle is more my type of show... I'm just saying that I think it has potential to get really good & if we don't give it a chance it'll get yanked off the air before we get to see that potential, & that would piss me off more than a few underdeveloped characters..... :)
(yes, my name is really Diana)

So, um, I was very creeped out at the end of the episode when Cassie was tapping into the black magic and went all orgasmic facially then said "daddy" when she opened her eyes

I loved the episode, and i personally love Cassie, i think she is just seeking answers as anybody would do, shes my favorite character, maybe because Britt is so hot, but still i love her, Adam and Cassie should be together, i think she complements her very well, and keeps her safe every time, i still dont like Jake, i dont trust him... and I cant wait to see Blackwell, hope that Cassie is not suck into this dark magic stuff

I agree that Cassie/Baze seems to have a limited repertoire . Indeed Adam is too good for her - but I think that is the point - that is the function that he serves in the Circle and he is certainly a chip off the old block because I think that is the function that his Dad played in the old Circle. But maybe I am reading too much into a show aimed at the demographic.

Cassie is dealing with a power inside her she doesn't understand. No one does. The only person that she knows that could understand how she's feeling is her father. She seeks answers, she wants guidance, and she wants advice. Not a paternal figure, in my opinion. Okay, maybe a bit.

But Cassie has become desperate. That woman 16 years ago saved her life, so in her mind she didn't think there was a risk. I know it's wrong of her to risk all her friends' lives on a whim, but they did agree to it and Cassie is becoming borderline-pyschotic at this point.

Guess we can't have our Cake...Go ahead throw Jake in bed with Faye for a few eps to keep the sexual tension brewing between him and Cassie. Of course he will have to do more than dig up her father's grave, and he didn't even break a sweat, to redeem himself. Do this, Jake. Do that, Jake. Dig, dig, dig. If I had a beauty like him at my beck and call there would be a rewards program for Jake. Adam had his moment in the spotlight and he is a good guy. Diana wins me over every time. And how is Cassie unsympathetic? She's strong, I think. She should slow down and listen to Adam a little more. Why is Diana kissing Lee in the preview? It's dark and she thinks he's Adam?

I rather enjoyed Cassie this episode, one might argue I like unsympathetic characters better.

However, Adam is too good for her. He needs to find a good girl like Diana. Cassie isn't that. He needs to accept it.

And Faye and Jake making out was WAY too intense for two high school students. For me personally, I didn't find it "sexy" I found it beyond freaking creepy.

And it also partially ruined my Cake ship (I like them because they are both very ruthless down to the core).

britt robinson seems to have only one emotion... lost. if that's even an emotion. everyone's just going with the motions... cassie's bad. very very bad. okay i get it. anything else?? no character development so far in any of them. except ethan. ethan is adorable. & maybe diana. she has potential. but compared to gossip girl & vampire diaries that have a substantial long lasting fan base... there needs to be more on this show. more of anything. everything. the whole show seems stuck in a rut. what's happening with fay?? cassie?? cassie/adam??? the parents??? blackwell??? witch hunters??? the episodes haven't been building at all... i know they're there & i can guess what'l happen... but nothing's really happening. oh & btw. fay is annoying. really really annoying. she really needs to get a life & stop being such a hater.
