Oh yeah, the Klaus storyline is awesome. Leave it to the Vampire Diaries to make me care about a villain I once loathed. He obviously has issues - and to see the more caring side of him come out is really fascinating to watch. I don't know that I want Caroline and Klaus together, but I really love watching them interact. Honestly, the other originals don't interest me, and if they die - fine. But Elijah, Klaus, and Rebekah actually have interesting personalities and stories, and I'll be sorry to see them go if/when they do.

Cont'd. Stefan and Elena? that annoyed me too. I understand how she can still love him, but he's not even trying.."the pain" ofcourse there will be pain.. but be a man about it and accept what you did... he's being a child. I will say the Caroline Klaus storyline is very intriguing. Klaus is obviously a deeply wounded individual with HUGE trust issues. His love for a woman was rivaled by his brother, his father hated him, his mother "betrayed" him. Is there love in there? i believe somewhere there is.

oh yea.. i agree. I was basically yelling for Elena to just put her hands on Elijah's so he wouldn't drink. I hope he will be ok!

I was disappointed. Not because I felt it was a bad episode, but because of Elena not being honest with Elijah. He saved her from Rebekah, firstly, then he puts all his trust in her to tell her whats really going on with his mother. To lie to him, to not tip him off about the toast, really bothered me. I don't want Elijah caught up in it, he really is one of my favorite characters and I do believe he has a good heart. Obviously his mother knows this too, or she wouldn't have questioned her plan. I felt bad for Damon, he didn't deserve to get his love thrown back in his face. He couldve let Kol kill matt, especially after Elena said what she said; but he didn't

I agree with Annie. The episode was pretty - I love Elena's dress. But everything else was just ridiculous. Easily the most frustrating episode in the whole series. Seriously? Elena is still going to go back to Stefan that quickly? And the way she treated Damon was so harsh. My heart shattered for him. I understand why he would sleep with Rebekah, and vice versa, but I still hated it. I agree that the love-triangle is starting to feel a little drawn out. I know it's the point of the show - but eventually a decision must be made.
Also, when all the Originals were going to drink the champagne, was I the only one yelling at Elena to tell Elijah not to drink it!? He's seriously the best guy on the show, after Damon. I love him, and Elena should have stopped him from drinking it. He's a good guy - he doesn't deserve to go with the rest of his siblings.
All in all, an extremely frustrating episode - especially since I was so looking forward to it.

Great ep . I'm totally stelena , forwood , and bonman . My fav parts were Tyler and Caroline's phone calls .

I'm really starting to enjoy Klaroline...but I do think he has a motive. It's extremely out character for him to just go after her unless he has a reason to. It's not really OOC for Caroline though...I love her and all, but a guy, no matter how evil he is, treats her like she's a princess and she'll give in. Anyway, I'm excited to see how their "relationship" plays out

I agree with this review. I think the momma Original will have second thoughts because she do not look that cruel of a person. I am glad one critic do not ship Klaroline and sticks with Forwood. I want to see more of the dangerous Kol. I knew it will be Rebekah he sleeps with but he was upset. I honestly did not like Stefan and Elena this episode but I hardly like Elena anyway.

Definitely my least favorite ep of the season. Elena's really going to run back to Stefan that fast? And Damon did nothing wrong this episode and all he got for trying to protect the woman he loved was a broken neck and a broken heart. Personally, I didn't really care much about the Damon/Rebekah hookup. I wasn't interested at all.
Oh, and I think I could live without the rest of the Originals, but Elijah CANNOT die. Someone needs to undo the spell. I won't let Elijah go with the rest of them. He's the most redeemable Original and my second favorite male on the show. I can't just let him go.
Not a good ep. Just. No.
