Having already seen this week's new episode of The Vampire Diaries - visit TV Fanatic at 9 p.m. EST on Thursday for my expanded review - I can safely say that it's one of the best of the season, as "1912" features tight storytelling, interesting character development and one shocking final scene.

And that's about all I can say. Julie Plec and company have sworn critics to secrecy.

But I am permitted to drop a few vague hints here and there, as I did yesterday when teasing that a main character will spend time in jail.

Now, for hint #2: Elena will catch Stefan in a compromising position.

Meaning what, exactly? What will he be doing? How will each side react? Take your best guesses now and, once again, I ask any other attendee to respect Plec's request at the show's PaleyFest panel: don't say a word.
