House Series Finale Clips: "Everybody Dies"

by at .

What will be Wilson's fate? Who will return to House and why? How, exactly, will this long-running Fox series end?

None of these pressing questions are answered in the following three clips, courtesy of tonight's eerily-titled "Everybody Dies."

We simply see the team dealing with a new patient and House himself in a good mood for some reason. But we have a feeling things will eventually grow rather bleak for the grumpy doctor and those around him.

Relive the very best House quotes from the past eight seasons and then watch the following sneak peeks:

(I guess my post was too long-winded.
here's part 2. if the site allows me to post)

    3. I also read a few comments from people who interpreted the final scene as purely dream.. (though 'who' is dreaming?!) and that House died in the fire. end of story.

the sun-drenched scene we see at the end is fantasy.

I may not 'see' this, myself, but I like the idea that the writers/creators of the show managed to show House die. literally. fake-ly. AND smbolically. with one storyline !

    Bravo!

    .. smart writers.

I've read a few audience reactions on various sites, out of curiosity, and the interesting thing is the script of "Everybody Dies" appears to offer enough multivalence to satisfy a few interpretations:

    1. literal. which is the way I took the episode. with the teaser that Foreman, possibly, gleans the truth and so, also possibly, will tell the others. one day. or not..
a little Thelma & Louise-ish. but funnier, quirkier. less tragic, of course.
a little 'deus-ex-machina-ish' (my fear was just that) but strangely comforting, too-

'we', not House, are left with the puzzle.

    2. literal and symbolic, simultaneously (!): I read someone's comment that, for him, House DOES die- in the sense that the "old" House is dead. a changed, 'other' House is riding off with Wilson into the proverbial sunset..

    I like that interpretation.
the funeral is symbolically real. without a body.

I liked the ending of House

It was a nice twist after seeing a lifetime of season finales, I liked this one. I had stopped watching House and his self hating mean ways a long while back. I just recently started watching again, I guess in time to catch the last four episodes and I'm glad I did. I figured he had saved himself somehow but I liked the fact that Wilson is blasting him and his phone rings telling him to shut up! There's was a bro-mance like no other : ) In the end he was doing what he wanted...spending Wilson's last 6 months together. It brought back a lot of the old characters for the last good bye.
