Time Slot Showdown: Thursday Night Mayhem!

at . Comments

A town full of vampires. A stage full of singers. An island full of rogue submarine passengers and a sitcom full of jokes about sex.

Thursday nights this fall will feature a little bit of something for all TV viewers, from the suspense of The Vampire Diaries to the results of The X Factor to the return of Andre Braugher to a new night for Two and a Half Men.

Indeed, from old favorites to new dramas to blocks of sitcoms, 8 p.m. on Thursdays ought to be one of the most competitive time slots of the week.

As we give thanks to the inventor of the DVR, we're also left to wonder: Which of the following shows will you watch live every week?

Cobb's undetermined (as of publishing) knee ailment, which left the young receiver on crutches during the second half, was compounded by an earlier leg injury to deep threat James Jones, whose status was also unclear as the Packers returned home. Losing one or both wideouts for an extended period would be a big blow, but whatever goes down, it's clear the Pack will have life as long as the quarterback remains upright. .

I find no interest in other shows but vampire diaries and I can't wait for season 4. =)

CW all yall shows suck!!!

The reason CBS stays on top of most ratings, is due to the fact, CBS will continue to produce 22 episodes of scripted series and does not lower itself to half of a commitment. NBC pay attention....poor programming only 13 eps....I'd like to see an interview with Lorne Michaels and Tina Fey on if they are happy with this half order of a season...See people, NBC merged with Comcast, and now we have a company that puts cable in the ground, programming comedy content..Not Winning NBC...and by the way, who audits rating companies? Bankers?

Les Moonves will kick ass - CBS is winning.....NBC why don't you just get out of the programming business if you can't keep 30Rock on the air. Like Fashion Police is worth keeping.

to: NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt WRONG WRONG WRONG TO CANCEL THIS SHOW, AND ONLY RENEW FOR 13 EPISODES. Comcast and NBC merger keeps crap on the E Channel and cancels award winning work....horrible tv programming... Thanks Mr. Greenblatt, again, another blow for great art...and by the way, the OFFICE has been crap for many years...how can anyone watch it.

Alan: What's the forecast?
Charlie: High tonight, low tomorrow, 100% chance of hangover.

Charlie: For every gorgeous woman out there's a guy tired of banging her.
Alan: But that guy is never me.
