AMAZING EPISODE !!! I cried with Aria because I thought it was her brother Mike that was dead ^^ Cause that would've been so random and crual ... Garett was obviously dead since the beginning when he said in front of Toby that he wanted to talk. And I agree with the comments : Girls defend yourselves and aim for the mask !!!

Who cares about all that plot stuff??? How awesome did Adam Lambert look in his vampire costume??? He was so hot and even his little bit of acting was cool. That boy needs to be on TV every week, maybe he can join the cast and catch the killer - or just sing and look amazing. Either is fine by me.

the littlegirl ghost has to be Allison's twin who must have died as a child.don't recall the storline to that. Allison knew about the cheating teacher, thing. So,one of them is guilty,or both.she loves to blackmail.I've always been suspicious of Ezra,since he has a history of messing with teenage girls.Mona was definately singing with a male partner,while trying to push the box off the train.Is this ever going to have an ending,with some closer?

The little ghost girl is Ali's twin sister...in the first halloween episode she told the story of twin sisters fighting over dolls and one was killed by the other...Ali must have killed her twin sister and she was the ghost.

Ezra isn't on the A team and Toby is only on the A to protect spencer and garret being dead is just another dead end but the reveal about Byron and Ali is just creepy

I totally think that the little girl was a repressed memory of alison's twin, Ashley may have been drugged or something to forget that Ali had a twin if the show is gonna go full out conspiracy and bring the parents in (which it totally should and they have started with Byron)

there are no ghosts in this show.. a rather simpler explanation: hanna's mom got cancer and it has metastasized to her brain.

It couldn't have been Toby pushing the box with Mona because if I recall Aria stabbed whoever was pushing the box. & Toby's hand seemed fine. That also wasn't Spencer humming a song, it was Mona.

@PrettyLittleObserver - It wasn't Spencer humming the song....it was someone in a room she walked by on the train. that's why she paused...cause she heard someone sing.
Here is what I have a huge problem with when it comes to these girls. How many times have they been attacked - when do you think they might want to learn to start fighting back?!! I mean come on Spencer - you barely put up any fight at all! Kick or something!
These girls needs self defense lessons. Emily is kind of a fighter, and even Hanna a little. But Aria and Spencer are too wimpy!
Please get rid of stupid Ezra! Enough with this creepy relationship - it's SO played out. And who has a job interview at night?! Give me a break.
It sounded as if Mona was talking to Lucas...but you never know.

Nothing about the arm that came out of the ground? I would have thought that would have been a topic of discussion. Unless that scene was a flashback to the night that Ali was murdered and it was her arm sticking out.

@kat paige is probably sad that yet again, her girlfriend's friends are always there interrupting their alone time together.....? theory here. i say its too obvious for her to apart of A, it would become a stilton if so. she just doesn't like the others and wants ems to be safe.....
the ghost story theory is also believable because ghosts can manifest into a time they felt comfortable in (GW reference) another theory here....

i may be one of the only one who was bored during the episode...however i did feel it to warrant a 4 star on base of the ending. i liked the twist of garret's body being dead throughout the train scenes which makes me question whether spencer did really talk to him THEN or was this a flashback...
The re-appearance of the out of town characters maybe to let us know that A can be anyone we least suspect.
The ezra aspect i do see, but he seems to dim to pull that off imo. byron, i see blackmail more than relationship. probably ally fancied him but he rejected her advances...
who mona was speaking to...good question but remember all isn't as it seems so it could be her imagination.

Also, did you guys notice how weird Paige sounded when she said "my pleasure" to spencer?
I have a feeling that she is on the A team as well. And if she's on the A team, that only leaves Caleb as the only good partner of our liars. Therefore I think all the boyfriends (and Paige) are on the A-teAm.. Man this is so intense!!!!

The little girl was one of the twins from last halloweens episode. I knew ever since the earring thing Ali was fooling around with byron but I doubt he killed her. The time line of events really annoyed me bc aria was missing before Spencer talked to garret and then when we see garrets body his lips were blue like he'd been dead for awhile found it odd. Definitely don't know what to make of Ezra. Could be a red herring. Overall great episode. Especially for a filler. More happened and was found out than in even the halves of seasons all together.

If you look back at the first eps of S1 & 2 Spencer is already awake when the other girls wake up to discover Ali/Emily missing. Very suspicious!!!
I love Spencer but she's definitely high on my suspect list now! Cant wait for the rest of the story to unfold!

I have a new suspect for everyone to consider.....I don't think Toby was the 'A' with Mona at the beginning of the episode I think it was Spencer. Later in the ep just before she is grabbed by Garret she is humming "Teddy Bears Picnic" the same tune Mona was singing at the start.
What if the scene with Garrett's confession to Spencer didn't actually happen at all, what if we're just seeing what Spencer wanted us to see...the story she was going to tell the other girls. After all this is the Halloween episode where we're witnessing things that aren't necessarily real, like the ghost. In the Pretty Dirty Secret teasers there was a body being kept on ice....Ali would be bones by now so why would she need to be kept on ice....Garrett looked pretty blue & frozen to me. Also how could Garrett have gone from talking to Spencer & then all of a sudden be dead in the box with Aria?

Loved the episode!! I don't think the ghost girl is Ali's twin she looks way to young. Did anyone else have a hard time watching Toby and Spencer together after what we found out about Toby?? I did it was very hard. I just wanted to scream get away from him Spencer he's on the A Team!!! I'm suspicious of Ezra now and Bryon. Poor Aria!! =[ I had a thought, does anyone remember the flash back of when Aria and Ali were in Bryon's office and thrashed and Ali found the earring. Well what the earring was Ali's and she was fooling around with Bryon and she got pissed at him for fooling around with Merideth. That's just my theory. Any clue as to who but Ali's body on the ice table thing? Maybe Mona?

Btw, when Paige was looking for Aria and met Jenna, Jenna noticed a camera left on a table, which probably belongs to Lucas! I guess he was with Mona Pushing Aria out.

That was a really good episode but I WAS SO FRUSTRATED WITH HANNAH, SPENCER, AND PAIGE!!! RIP the freaking masks off!!! It really is not that hard, yes you are fighting for your life but I think there were plenty of times that they could have gotten the masks off during that scene! GRRRRRR!!!!

There two people trying to push Aria out of train, did anyone recognize their voices? one was definitely Mona the other was a man and I guess he got injured, so we should look for someone with a scar.

Guys, it is totally obvious that the little girl is one of the twins (either Alison or her twin sister). She's a ghost. That's why she is so cold and keeps disappearing. We just have to figure out which twin is dead (if not both of them). Go back and watch last year's Halloween episode; the little ghost girl in this years episode plays at least one of the twins in last year's Halloween episode. Oh, and @Kat - I totally noticed that too! I was freaking out trying to determine what it meant...

The look Ezra gave Aria when the trick or treat kids knocked on the door was very suspicious. I've been a little suspicious of him for a while now.
Like others, I believe that the girl was Ali's twin, although I never want the show to go down the Sixth Sense route, where people can start seeing ghosts. I think it would ruin the whole show.
I think the ending left us with the knowledge that Alison was buried alive and left to die. Although, thinking back at some of the videos the girls watched (the ones that Caleb restored from the hard drive), I remember the sound of Alison taking a few blows to the head.
Not sure. It certainly leaves the possibility that Alison got out of her grave and is still alive, but then why would Mona and Toby be helping her?
See ... that's why PLL is so good! Nothing ever adds up!
