LOL at Elena. She changes her mind on her so called feelings like the wind changes directions. I'm having so much fun using the footage from this new clip in my youtube montage to her starting from season's 1 "it's always gonna be you Stefan" and "I love you Stefan" constant repetition to her apparent 180 "I think I'm in love with Damon" and "He just kinda changed my life" I'm even including the lake house scene where she says she can't even remember her feelings for Stefan. I've never seen a more confused child in my life. Stefan needs to walk away.....SERIOUSLY. He needs to have some self respect and leave the situation for Damon to deal with.

Are you for real? If anything, Elena show a big ass attitude when she is saying she slept with Damon because she is in love with him...Puhhleazze... You can say all you want if that helps you sleep tonight, but she is anything but devoid of emotion. Just face reality and move on...Delena IS ON!

I love Elena as a vampire!!! She is no longer the annoying little woman that needs to please everyone. I know in this clip she is not saying that to Stefan. She must be arguing with that snake Caroline. I'm sure Caroline is not biting her tongue either and is continuing to force everyone to do as she thinks is best. Elena has all the right in the world to have an attitude with her...enough is enough! I can't believe she said that aloud...yayyyyyy! Miss Gilbert grew a pair made of steel...good for her!

Why is it that people start attacking the actors personally when the show is not going the way they want it to? That is just dishonest and downright mean. I have read some posts when Ian or Paul or Nina are downplayed and attacked as actors because of their characters storyline. One needs to be pretty stupid not to differentiate. I prefer some characters more than others, but that doesn't mean I do not appreciate everyone's work. I do not talk smack about the ones I dislike just because...we are all fans of a show and even though we don't share the same ideas and don't ship the same couples, we DO NOT have the right to destroy the actors themselves.

the way elena said that she was in love with damon in the clip was clearly the sire bond talking because of how emotionless she looked when she said it and how empty her voice sounded, void of any sincere expression.

@Melanie; I am so sure it is the Black Keys, but I can't narrow down the song. Try listening to the video and Google the lyrics you hear, maybe with 'The Black Keys' in the search. :-)

I like Tyler, I do, and his anger at klaus is more than justified, but TVD has set klaus up as this indestructible character and it's hard to imagine this confrontation ending in anything but poor Tyler's death. I would very much like to see a showdown between them but Tyler would have t find some way of evening the playing field first and I'm not sure how he would go about that.

Cont... Oh before I forget, Stefan was not puppy love and Damon mature love because Elena still 'has feelings for Stefan' according to what she told Caroline. Just before she 'died' she was still in love with Stefan and chose him over Damon in the most painful way possible (letting Damon die alone while rushing to be by Stefan's side while he breathe his last). How did that change in a couple of episodes after she changes into a vampire episode please? To be honest, if Plec is true to the story and not to vocal fans then Delena cannot last cos it's obvious Elena the vampire started seeking out Damon for help and allowed her feelings for him to grow instead of doing the right thing by quashing them AFTER she was sired. Think about it.

I really don't like Elena anymore either. I loved her in season one and she was still cool in 2 and 3 but now she is aweful. Not sure why anyone is saying that she stands up for what she wants now that she is a vampire. She has always done what she wanted always. This is the girl who had Jeremy's memories erased, had lied to Stefan to talk to Kat, had Stefan snap Damon's neck to talk to the original witch and told Elijah of their plan to get rid of Klaus. Plus the whole sire bond kinda means she is actually not doing what she wants, "illusions of free will". The way she has treated her friends and Stefan this season make her awful. And who ever said that Paul was not as good as Ian needs glasses. The only two scenes that made me genuinely upset both included Paul. Paul and Joseph Morgan are the most amazing actors on that show. The emotion they show even through small scenes is amazing. I enjoy any scene they are in.

@Nelly You just took me to the good old days #sigh. I also had tears in my eyes in that episode and Pauls acting chops was displayed brilliantly. In my opinion Ian has been getting better material than Paul for a while and Paul has been doing the best he can with acting hurt, pensive and incessantly wanting to do right by Elena #deathbyboredom. If only Plec would give Paul better material you'll see that Ian is a lesser actor than Paul. Ian has limited range and seems to have a semi permanent smirk even when he is acting a movie (see his clip on twitter) or granting an interview. Also, the fact that Ian is 3 years older than Paul doesn't make him more experienced, a quick search on google will reveal that Paul has had more acting gigs than Ian thus is the more experienced of the two. Finally, chemistry doesn't come with acting per se but with connection between actors. Nina is clearly conflicted and leaning more towards acting love/sex scenes with her man. @V I agree with you about the Stelena scene in 3x01. I had tears in my eyes while watching it, it was such an emotional scene, even I as a DEshipper can admit that. And also the SE closet scene in 3x03 where Elena and Stefan stare into each others eyes was awesome. But apart from these two scenes I've never seen great chemistry between them. The chemistry between Nina/Elena and Ian/Damon was outstanding from the beginning and IMO this has nothing to do with the fact that she is dating Ian but more to do with the story the writers are trying to tell, namely that Stelena are puppy love and Delena are the real deal. Besides IMO Ian is the better actor. Paul is a good actor and a great guy, but he hasn't the experience that Ian has and that's the reason why the DE scenes are more intense.

Its a tv show about vampires, not saints or timelords, of course they're going to behave immorally, they're controlled by their emotions. Although, the writers seem determined to have Elena live up to her Petrova legacy, no not to be a sacrifice or a blood bag, but to mess around with with the lives of two brothers. I don't really feel sorry for Stefan, because he's tried to control Elena ever since she turned, when Rebekah attacks her at her anti curfew party (why does Elena attend in the first place)he doesn't help her or even confront Rebekah.He just lectures Elena He acts like he's disgusted by the fact that she's now a vampire, even though he's done much worse things himself. So does Caroline, for that matter, who, as I've said before, is a bit of a hypocrite for lecturing Elena about Damon and then still allowing Klaus into her life.

cont. ...are in love. Honest I don't understand how Ian and Nina rule the show simply because they are dating in real life. Nina/Paul love scenes and chemistry in seasons 1 & most of 2 was off the charts but it suddenly sizzled out from season 3 and moved to her lover Ian. Does anyone remember when Stefan in his ripper state called her over the phone and was silently crying while she encouraged him to stay strong etc? Even over the phone there was chemistry as at then. Nina needs to take notes from Emily (Emily VanCamp) whose chemistry with Aiden is very intense even though she's in a relationship with Daniel in real life or else she should make sure she and Ian always act movies together.

OMG I am so excited!!! I can't believe that Elena said out loud that she slept with Damon, not because of the sire bond, but because she is in love with him. Elena is in love with Damon, I've waited four seasons for this to happen, I am so happy right now.

I think Tyler has a damn good reason to be upset, i love both him and klaus and am interested in where this storyline is going. And for Elena, I like her like this, not because she is with damon, but because she stands up for what she wants.

I really can't think of any tv character I have despised the way I despise Elena right now. WHAT? To tell Stefan that crap with a straight face after moving into his house and sleeping with his brother a day after their break up is beyond revolting. There's a reason why Shonda is the queen of soapy love stories, that's because she NEVER crosses the line when it comes to sibling, fathers, mothers etc...blood is blood and even if the story is about vampires or zombies love is the same language. How can the foundation of true love be chasing after a brothers girlfriend till the silly twat gives in? To keep this revolting triangle alive Elena will 'love' Stefan also. I just hope no Damon worshiper will cry foul when she falls out of love with him in a single episode and goes running back into the arms of Stefan.
