Amber Tamblyn Cast as Charlie's Gay Daughter on Two and a Half Men

Two and a Half Men has named its new young woman.

Amber Tamblyn has been cast in the recurring Season 11 role of Charlie's long-lost lesbian daughter. The actress (Joan of Arcadia, House) will debut on the sitcom's September 26 premiere and play a significant role over the course of the fall.

According to CBS sources, the character's name will be Jenny and she will move to Los Angeles in order to pursue an acting career, ending up under the same roof as Alan and Walden.

“She’s somewhat of a chip off the old block,” teases executive producer Chuck Lorre. “She’s having a good time and doesn’t care about the destruction left behind her. Decadence from the other side felt long overdue.”

With Angus T. Jones only appearing on the show next season sporadically, Tamblyn has signed on for five episodes and may become a series regular.

I used to like Joan of Arcadia.
Then, the show was destroyed by a spoiled, self-centered little BITCH.
She whined & complained about being bored - BOO FREAKIN' HOO!
John Ritter's son Jason, OUT OF A JOB. Joe Mantegna, OUT OF A JOB. Mary Steenburgen, OUT OF A JOB.
From that moment, I hoped Amber Tamblyn's career landed in the toilet & stayed there. DID SHE EVER APOLOGIZE?

@Spindae 2.0 - This show used to be great...Anything that would take the show back to that golden level will do for me. :-)

Agree @Pratik! But maybe they wante to go on a different road. Will be interesting see her interact with Alan and Walden. Hopefully Evelyn smudders her with love, missed her in the recent eps. ;)

Well, I would never have pictured her for that role.
