Dermot Mulroney is headed to Showtime.

According to a network press release, the veteran actor will play a significant role on Shameless Season 5 next year, coming on board the dramatic comedy as a recovering addict named Sean Pierce.

Look for the character to serve as Fiona’s new manager at Patsy’s Pies.

As you might expect, Sean and Fiona's relationship will be full of flirtation and tension, with Showtime asking whether or not they'll be able to "overcome their weakness for each other?"

Our guess? NO.

Mulroney has appeared in over 65 films ,including My Best Friend’s Wedding, Family Stone, Big Miracle, The Grey, About Schmidt, Stoker, jOBS, J Edgar and Zodiac.

On the small screen, he most recently stopped by episodes of Enlightened and New Girl.

Shameless Season 5, meanwhile, kicks off in early 2015.
