Bones Picture Preview: What Happens at the Forensic Science Convention

at .

On Bones Season 10 Episode 5, it looks like Brennan, Angela, Cam, and Hodgins will have the chance to get out of the lab and attend a forensic science convention.

But apparently, they're going to find more than interesting presentations and conversations with other scientists.

As the slideshow below shows, the group won't be able to enjoy the convention for long before they are thrown into a murder investigation -- and it doesn't look pretty. In true Bones fashion, a body will be found in an unlikely place, causing the team to switch gears and do what they do best: solve a crime.

But first, Brennan will contend with her publishing rival, Tess Brown, which might make for an awkward encounter.

And if you've been wondering when the popular squintern, Wendell Bray, will be back, wait no longer. Wendell will be helping with the investigation, and we'll hopefully see how he's been doing with chemo. With any luck, he'll have some good news, since any more emotional trauma would be hard to accept right now.

If you can call a murder investigation "keeping things light," then it looks like this episode will be doing just that.
