The fall finale was a doozy!

Chicago PD Season 3 Episode 9 involved the mob and left Roman in a very serious situation. Will he get out of it?

TV Fanatics Elizabeth Harlow and Stacy Glanzman are joined by super fan Honey to discuss Roman's fate, their thoughts on the case, and Voight's questionable methods.

What did you think of the case?

Elizabeth: I liked it. Mob stuff is so Chicago.

Honey: Chicago is Mob town it's not like Voight hadn't been there before. I thought it was a great case. I felt that Charlie took the fall for the killer who was the lawyer.

Stacy: I found it to be really interesting. I didn't expect the lawyer to be the killer.

How did you feel about Voight letting the attorney walk out?

Elizabeth: I'm curious what he plans to do when the lawyer's body shows up. If this was the real world, I'd be pretty disturbed by it, but it's TV and Voight made the options pretty clear to the guy.

Honey: Well he will get him eventually. Mr. Shelly told Charlie what to say and evidently he was told if he didn't maybe Lauren would have problems or that they would kill him. I only hope that the lawyer has made his peace with God.

Stacy: I'm with Elizabeth. If this were real life, I'd have a problem with it, but Voight has never been a by the book guy and it's not at all surprising he would give this guy a choice. I liked that Lindsay had a problem with it.

Will Voight get Roman out of this mess?

Elizabeth: Ugh, probably. I'm sorry, I just can't like Roman. It's not even that he's terrible, he's just blah.

Honey: Roman will come out of this a little more scathed then he wants to admit. He wants more than to be friends with Callie. He is trying to be there for her after the loss of Andrew, it must be really hard.

Stacy: It would not surprise me if Voight plants a gun on the dead guy to get Roman out of this mess.

What was your favorite quote/scene?

Elizabeth: Trudy getting all girly about rings was pretty good, and Ruzek's reaction to falling off the balcony.

Honey: Ruzek took a pretty good fall, but I loved it when he told Halstead 'NO' and then gave him a thumbs up sign. Also Erin calling Hank on his mob association.

Stacy: I liked the scene at the end between Voight and Lindsay. We don't get to see the sensitive side of Voight very often, and it usually only comes out for Lindsay.

Did anything disappoint you?

Elizabeth: I'm a little curious about what's going on with the Ruzek-Olinsky living situation, so I wish that would have been covered some how.

Honey: Yeah I was thinking maybe, Erin and Jay will finally get together.

Stacy: I may have groaned a little when Roman shot the unarmed man, but otherwise I thought the episode was really solid.

Chicago PD Season 3 Episode 9 Quotes

Platt: Hey Burgess.
Burgess: Sargeant?
Platt: I bet you twenty bucks I get hitched before you do.
Burgess: Okay, we'll see.

Ruzek: So, Victoria saw something she wasn't supposed to and Outfit killed her for it.
Halstead: Given the way the body was drilled full of holes so it would sink, that's a strong possibility.
