Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2 Review: Raising Hell

at .  Updated at .

It seems that we're going to be seeing a lot of people from Sam and Dean's past. Some will help. Others will hinder.

How long any of them stay is anyone's guess.

The boys enlisted the help of Rowena on Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2 which wasn't much of a surprise because she's always willing to lend a helping hand.

What was a surprise, though, was Ketch.

It was surprising that everyone wasn't surprised to see him. They were surprised but not as much as you'd think.

And his immediate crush on Rowena was funny as hell.

Leave it to Dean to interrupt a moment between them even if it was via phone.

A Surprise for Dean - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

The big question is how did Ketch get in there in the first place -- and all the other hunters, too.

Maybe I missed something, but if nobody could get in, how did they?

No matter. Ketch was there to help, and he was good to go until Jack the Ripper decided to play a trick, and Ketch got shot in the process.

Cas Looks On - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

He's out of the game now, but he's not out of the game for good.

They boys are going to need all the help they can get. Those ghosts being summoned by Jack the Ripper wants in, and he's going to do everything he can to get them in and cause more havoc.

Keven showing up was another surprise, but the reaction from Sam and Dean wasn't as expected.

It's possible that they're both so exhausted from their entire life that nothing surprises them anymore.

Kevin wasn't much help, though he did tell the boys about Jack the Ripper's plan.

But he was done with it all and decided his best course of action was to go back to hell. Whether Sam and Dean will be able to get him to heaven after this is all over is anyone's guess.

Kevin's Back - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

Belphegor was more than accommodating with Kevin. And after Ketch told the boys about the possibility Belphegor might be more than he appears, the demon did seem a bit disturbed.

But the boys don't have time to deal with it now. They need his help, and Belphegor is still playing there game.

As was mentioned in the Supernatural Season 15 Episode 1 review, Belphegor has an ulterior motive. It's still unknown, but it's slowly being unraveled.

Soul Catcher - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

The ghosts don't seem to know who he is even though they know who Sam and Dean are.

It's always fun when ghosts or demons bond together and make a plan. Every group needs a leader, and the hosts have Jack the Ripper. He took control the minute he arrived.

And he even has a bodyguard which was fun. It was clever how he took over Ketch's body just as Rowena was about to release the ward or spell or whatever it was she was doing.

There was even a small battle over who was going to get the Soul Catcher, but of course, it ended up in the right hands.

The Three Stooges - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

It might be a setback for Jack the Ripper and his minions, but it won't be for long.

This is a smart ghost, and he's going to find a way to get what he wants. The fact that he even said they needed to have some fun showed his mindset.

Havoc for havocs sake. He's a keeper.

Rowena Works Her Magic - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

We wouldn't expect that the boys would have an easy go of it, so the Soul Catcher is the perfect adversary.

Chuck seemed to be having some regrets about what he did. He visited Amara (another surprise reappearance) with an ulterior motive.

That's how he operates, and Amara was onto him quite quickly. She's loving her life and has no desire to get involved in Chuck's drama.

The Blacklist Season 7 Episode 2: Lous T. Steinhil: Conclusion

She doesn't know what's wrong, but she knows something is wrong.

Chuck's going to have to figure it out himself. Unfortunately, that means Chuck isn't out of Sam and Dean's life.

He'll find the perfect opportunity to reinsert himself which will probably cause even more havoc in Sam and Dean's life.

Sam with a Plan - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

It's not clear if Chuck regrets doing what he did to the boys or that he released all the souls from hell or both.

Sam and Chuck have a connection via the bullet hole in their shoulders, but whether or not either of them knows about the connection hasn't been established.

Sam is sort of being weird about it, but it might be because he doesn't want Sam to worry.

Cas is a Dope - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

I hate to say it, but Cas has got to go. He needs to go somewhere and get off the screen.

He's mopey and boring and only says the same thing over and over and over.

We get that he feels responsible for Jack, but while Jack might be gone, as we know, nothing stays dead forever on Supernatural.

Of course, Cas wouldn't know this, but his neverending "woe is me" routine is getting old.

Even Dean has had enough of it.

And for Cas to bring up Mary was dumb on his part. I've never been a fan of Cas and am still not a fan.

On the Lookout - Supernatural Season 15 Episode 2

The only thing is that now he's even more aggravating than before. So, please do us a favor. Go away.
