Jack decided it was time to stop making TGS live. Kenneth won't accept that and attempts to persuade everyone to keep it as a live show. By flashing back to a number of former live shows in television history he almost convinces everyone. After Tracy flashes back to a telethon he was on, Liz and Jack finally come around on the idea.
Meanwhile, Jenna wanted Paul to propose to her on live television, until he did. She then realized she wanted to marry Paul for Paul, and not for the publicity.
