While out on Carter's boat, Peter discovers his father-in-law has never had a bachelor party. Peter and the guys take him to a strip club, and Carter has a heart attack and ends up in a coma. When not even Dr. House (guest voice Hugh Laurie) can save him, the will states Lois take control while he's in a coma. Lois is unwilling to take over, so Peter steps in.
Despite Pewterschmidt Industires being at record profits, Peter fires everyone and quickly runs the company into the ground. When Carter comes out of his coma, Peter refuses to step down, and gives Carter a job as a janitor. Carter and Lois team up to take down Peter using a Scooby Doo-like plot and Carter resumes his role.
