Crisitina and Owen are getting adjusted to being married. He gives her breakfast in the morning and shampoos her hair. Nothing is the same anymore.

Meredith still hasn’t gotten cleared and tries to convince Perkins, but he still doesn’t budge. Derek finally arrives at the hospital after a night spent inside the jail cell and he reeks of urine.

Teddy and Owen get the Chief to put Cristina back into the game. Their new patient is not a new one, but an old one named Linda. She remembers Cristina from a time when she was with Dr. Burke.

A whole flag football team gets struck by lightening and is brought in. A girl named Carrie is looking for a man named Warren, but she has two other guys on the team are interested in her. Once Warren realizes that the other two guys are interested in her, he runs to tell Carrie first that he loves her.  hen he gets there he caughs up blood.

Dr. Bailey will not let Alex operate on anyone until he gets the bullet removed. She tells him that it’s a bad memory of something she will always remember for the rest of her life without having to look at him and he finally agrees to let her take it out.

In surgery Jackson drops a bunch of operating tools which triggers a memory in Cristina from when she had a gun held to her head the last night she operated. She can’t move until Meredith comes in and helps her get out of the operating room.

Sloan wants to propose to Lexie because he doesn’t want to lose her. He tells Callie and at first she doesn’t think it’s a good idea, but after he tells her that all he wants to do for the rest of his life is make Lexie happy, she agrees it’s a good idea to do that.

When he goes to tell Lexie his true feelings for her, she lashes out on him. She tells him that she had a good day and wants to be treated normal - not like some walking basket case. Lexie begs him to just leave her alone and Sloan agrees.

Meredith finally tells Derek that she had a miscarriage because she is so angry with him putting his life on the line with the speeding. He tells her that he will stop doing it from now on.

Owen goes to visit Cristina and tell her that it wasn’t her fault that she had a freak out. She doesn’t know where she belongs anymore, if not in the surgery room and gives Owen back her wedding band.

Cristina goes to Meredith who tells her that she’s married now and in it for the long hull - for better and for worse - just as Owen barges in and tells her hes not going anywhere. Cristina decides to go home.

Meredith meets with Dr. Perkins one last time and tells him that she lost her baby and her best friend may never be the same again. Everything in her life is out of her control, even getting passed to go back to surgery. He looks at her and approves her for surgery.
