-Freddie Hart was McGarrett's best friend, as well as his partner on the fateful mission to North Korea to retrieve Anton Hess--the mission depicted in the show's pilot episode.

-Freddie died in North Korea, but his body remained there for three years. The North Koreans offer the body of another man to the U.S. military, claiming that it is Freddie's, but McGarrett knows that it is not Freddie--and that he must travel to North Korea and retrieve the body himself.

-McGarrett and Catherine sneak into North Korea, tangling with the same war lords who murdered Freddie. They uncover Freddie's body, kill the men who killed him, and bring Freddie home.

Episode Number:

Most pple dont know what exactly to say on funerals yet whats said matters alot to d bereaved families. In this episode the Navy guy's speech was brief, spot-on n relevant. Hawaii Five-O sets me on fire...

Loved this episode for several reasons. One, Steve was able to bring his best friend home to his family. Secondly, his partner was a female and she wasn't killed in action and the mission was completed. Third, I love to see Steve in uniform and on seal missions. Lastly, the show was well written and it made us remember the military men and women who loose their lives for our freedom. I thoroughly enjoy Hawaii Five-O and am a proud American.

Steve McGarrett: It's only six miles down, I'll grab your legs.

Hart was just polishing the bell because he's so motivated, chief.
