Both House and Cuddy showed hesitation in their relationship this week, as House acted as if Cuddy was out of line in requesting that he no longer work with a masseuse with whom he's slept; while Cuddy was afraid of letting her man into her daughter's life.

By the end of the episode, though, House was having dinner with his new family. It may be awkward between him and Cuddy's child for a bit.

Elsewhere:

- Chase had to continually deny that he hired a new doctor because he wanted to sleep with her. But it became obvious that this woman was not right for the job and she resigned by the hour's end. Chase proceeded to ask her out (she even resembled Cameron). Pretty funny stuff.

- The patient of the week was a woman with schizophrenia who hadn't told her husband about her condition. Once House determined the problems started in her own, he successfully diagnosed her and the husband had to decide whether to leave her or not. He chose to stay.
