Recap

Nico
Nico and Kirby are cooking dinner for his mom's arrival and Nico is very shocked when Tina (Rosanna Arquette) shows up and the two of them are closer to sisters than a potential mother-in-law / daughter-in-law.  After an awkward dinner, Nico has a launch party for their newly acquired magazine, Hang Time, and Tina attends.  At the bar, when Tina and Nico are alone, Tina brings up her fears that Nico is just using Kirby with no future plans.  Kirby comes up to the two and Nico tells Kirby about their conversation and asks him to move in.  Tina then reveals to Kirby privately that she had a master plan when coming to visit.  Back at the house, Kirby doesn't want to move in because he feels that's not how you ask someone to.  He feels like a piece of furniture.  Nico and Kirby seem okay as they both say I love you in the end.

Wendy
Wendy is working on script notes when Shane tells her he signed with a new manager, Josie Scato (Vanessa Marcil), who already got him an independent project.  Wendy then joins Shane, the film's director, and Josie for dinner and the diretor offers her a producer role which she accepts.  Wendy comes home to find Shane and Josie working together, too busy to answer the door when a delivery comes.  When Taylor asks if he can hang out with his friend Finn, Wendy asks Shane to call Dennis and acts suprised that he's getting a divorced.  Dennis then stops by to drop off Finn and brings a bottle of wine as a peace offering.  Wendy tells Shane it was a thank you gift for making the costumes... she never told Shane she spent Halloween with him, let alone about the kiss!!

When Wendy and Shane are dancing at Nico's magazine launch party, he asks her about Dennis and she quickly changes the subject to his music.  She finds out he's already been showing Josie his work but isn't ready to show it to his wife / producer.  Outside, Wendy gives Shane her resignation letter as producer and confesses about the kiss.  Back home the two continue to fight but eventually seem to find a way to make up.

Victory
Victory is looking to sign a tennis player, Anna, to do her line and needs Joe's knowledge of tennis to help.  Anna will be at Nico's Hang Time launch party, but Joe is not answering Victory's phone calls.  Luckily, Nico meets up with Joe on Victory's behalf and gets him to agree to go to the party.  We also find out that Joe's assistant, Ellen, has still not returned the ring.  Joe eventually shows up to the party and does the meeting with Anna and Victory.  However, he doesn't help her out and let's her sink during the meeting and leaves the party and tells her she keeps changing on him.  Ellen comes to visit Victory at her house and let's it slip that Joe bought a ring... it brings Victory to tears.  There may be a hope for Joe and Victory after all!!
