Lipstick Jungle Season 2 Episode 6
The Lyin', the Bitch and the Wardrobe
The episode starts with Victory stressing about her new line for her opening. Joe soons comes to visit Victory with coffees and tells her how far over budget Dahlia has gone. Victory ends up firing Dahlia who decides to sabotage her opening including stealing the guests for a competing party, ruining the brochures, and too much to list. Joe meanwhile goes to Nico for advice and decides he's going to try for a second shot with Victory and goes to buy a ring to propose. Victory ends up calling Rodrigo for emergency contact work, and if things couldn't get any worse, the upstairs bathroom is leaking dirty water onto the dress for the finale. At the runway show, Joe shows up with the ring and Rodrigo shows up with flowers. After the show goes well, Victory gives a special thanks to Rodrigo and calls him on stage and kisses him. Joe leaves and obviously there's no proposal. Rodrigo and Victory then talk after celebration and the hearthrob takes off as usual.
Nico runs into Megan on the street in a very akward moment. She ends up holding the kid, feeling a connection, and finds out his name is Charles Jr, or Charlie. Nico then decides to buy a gift for the baby. Nico asks Kirby to go to the party with her as her date and he planned on working it. He needs the money. She offers to pay him not to work it. Awkward! Nico goes to visit Megan to deliver the gift as well as a box of Charle's things so the kid can learn how important his father was. Luckily Kirby shows up at the opening as Nico's date and manages to work a different party. Wendy and Nico discuss why Nico never had children and in a weird way Charlie is like the kid Nico never had. Now she's thinking about having kids at one point. At the end up the episode Kirby tells Nico his mom is coming and he can't wait for them to meet!
Wendy goes to make a pitch at Parador for a passion project she wants to get made. However, a young girl, Paige, the new VP of Development, sits in on the meeting and rips the script apart. When Wendy goes to get copies done to help Victory for her opening, the clerk at the copy store gives her a script she wants to get made. The episode ends with Wendy finishing the script and deciding the movie has to be made. She's going to start her own production company.
