This week’s episode started building the momentum for the season finale next week.

Spencer continues to be the town pariah and her mother suggests she help Melissa and Ian with the Founder’s Festival. Tensions rise between Spencer and Ian, especially when Melissa makes a mistake that reveals she probably wasn’t at Hilton Head with Ian like she said. As Spencer makes her way into the funhouse to meet Toby, she is locked in one the chambers, until Ian and her family find her.

Aria finds an incriminating photo of Ezra with another woman (wearing an engagement ring) on his online profile, but finds out from him that the relationship didn’t work out. That night, Garrett, the police officer tailing the girls, sees her leave her teacher’s apartment and has a talk with Mr. Fitz.

Hanna, still hurt by Caleb’s deceit, won’t listen to any of his excuses, but does find out that Jenna was looking for a key that Allison might have given one of her friends before she died. Although Caleb tries to leave her a note that confesses his love for her, Mona tears it up to protect her friend from more pain. Caleb boards a bus for Arizona without getting a chance to say goodbye to her.

A revealing text from “A” reminds Emily of a gift she received from Allison after her summer with her grandmother. Inside the snow globe is the key to a storage facility (unit #135) that holds a flash drive with videos of all the girls from before Allison died. They believe that the person who spied on them was probably the person who killed Allison.
