This episode focused on a patient George Valentine (Glynn Turman) who had just one night to live and no family to spend it with. J.D. and Turk skipped out on steak night (apparently a yearly tradition where the bromantic duo go out to a nice steak restaurant with just each other) in order to spend the nigth with him.
In addition to bringing him a beer, J.D. and Turk tried to help reduce some of George's fear of death. However, the two revealed that even as veteran doctors, they both still feared death. It was actually very well done and very emotional.
For other characters, Dr. Maddox (Courteney Cox) continued to prove she's just as evil as Kelso trying to milk patients for all their insurance money and then kick them to the curb. Ted became Valentine's lawyer who wrote out his will with a typewriter.
Intern Denise tried to improve her bedside manners and told us all a story about sleeping with a chubby. Intern Ed apparently has the ability to start trends quickly. The interns are slowly growing on me.
