We meet two new characters this week.
First, Diana's grandmother comes to down. She's suspicious of Dawn's actions and also curious about Cassie. She claims she can help Cassie defeat her dark magic, but actually ends up burying her alive. Cassie does escape, thanks to her extreme power, and we later learn that Grandma Kate was just testing her. She's excited about Cassie's possibilities.
Second, Lee is a guy found online by Faye because she wanted to develop powers on her own. He claims he can help her in the voodoo department, and he works out of his parents' garage.
To close the episode, thanks to a spell cast by Cassie, Jake returns to Chance Harbor.
