Monica continues to try and make up for lost time with the kids this week, but after she finds the family squirrel fund she and Frank fall back into their old song and dance but this time the kids get hurt. Steve loses Estefania's boyfriend when he tries to smuggle him into the county.

He enlists the help of Lip who is already busy trying to help Ian avoid Mandy's father. Fiona doesn't take no for an answer and gets the job at the club she wanted by asking for it a second time. She shares her plans to take college courses with Veronica. Veronica gets some bad news from the doctor but Kevin and she discuss adoption as an alternatice. Jody helps Sheila with her new hospice patient.
