Dean is already in the box in the middle of the ocean, but it was only a dream.

Sam and Dean discuss Dean's plans and Sam tells him there has to be another way, but he doesn't know what it is yet.

A guy has a woman tied up and is mixing something in a vat of water. He puts her in the water, then he cuts her arm and the blood is leaking all over. He holds her down until she drowns. She's a sacrifice of some kind.

Nick is in the hospital, but he's locked up.

Sam calls Cas to tell him he wasn't able to talk Dean out of the box but Cas has no alternatives. Neither does Rowena.

The guy brings someone else into his lair and kills him. He starts hearing spirits talk to him.

Sam and Dean are driving and Dean gets nostalgic.

Nick is praying to Lucifer when the cop comes back in and Nick overpowers him and kills him. He gets dressed and takes off.

Sam found a case for them to do that's on the way to where they're going.

Sam and Dean visit the dead guy's brother for information.

They learn that the murderer was a prophet and that Donatello might be dead, but he's not. He's in a hospital somewhere hooked up to machines.

Dean learns that Donatello is still alive. He and Sam break into Tony's apartment to find out what is going on. Meanwhile, Tony has another victim that he is about to burn alive, but Sam and Dean get there in time to save the day.

Alvarez kills himself in front of Sam and Dean.

Nick breaks into his old house and starts having memories. Then it gets really cold in there, like a ghost is present. Weird things start happening and then his wife shows up.

She's got some unfinished business which is why she hasn't gone to the other side yet. She wants him to reject Lucifer, but he can't.

Sam and Dean visit the hospital where Donatello is. Cas is there so that he can try to help him.

Donatello lives but he doesn't have a soul.

Dean decides he's not going to go in the box. He's going to fight another day.
