The Skinner needs to find a new buyer for Chen Yu-Lan. Ressler has Cooper reach out to Cynthia Panabaker, now a senator. She reluctantly agrees to help and gets them access to their old headquarters and some negligible funding off the books. Ressler finds Red stting in Liz's office. The Skinner makes Chen go back to work to steal the software for the chips to protect his family. Chen finds out his underling betrayed him to The Skinner. Raymond tries to get Vincent Duke to invoke the Skinner charter. The underling sacrifices himself so that Chen can download the files. Alina and Park chase down Chen. "The Captain" makes Red kiss her before she will invoke the charter. Aram explains that Chen's unique microchips will allow whoever controls the software to rule the world. Harold worries that Ressler isn't ready to go back into the field. The team trails Chen to his meeting spot. The Skinner's expert will uncover Aram's doctored code.
