Recap

-Paul Satterfield, a firefighter is murdered outside of the firehouse. During the search for the murder weapon, Jane is attacked an almost drowns.

-When Jane wakes up, he has no memory of his family or the CBI and only remembers himself as a psychic/conman. Lisbon has Jane help with the investigation in the hopes of getting his memory back.

-A day earlier, Paul had saved Tom Wilcox from his burning home. Jane realizes that Paul recognized a face mask in Tom's bedroom that was being worn by a robber at large who shot a security guard. When Tom realized Paul knew, he killed him to protect his identity.

-Jane still has no memories but tells LIsbon he's leaving the CBI. He realizes they aren't telling him something tragic about his past but he doesn't want to know.

-Before Jane leaves, Lisbon takes him to his home and shows him Red John's smiley face on the wall. As the memories come back, all Lisbon can say is "I'm sorry."
