Arrow Season 3 to Introduce New Love Interest, Rival, Mentor

We're still months away from the premiere of Arrow Season 3, but TV Line has given fans a reason to be extra excited for this show's October return.
Four reasons, actually, to be precise.
The CW has sent out casting notices for a quartet of new roles, with upcoming recurring players set to serve as a love interest for Felicity, a foe for Oliver and a lot more.
Fans will get to know the following new characters this fall:
- DANIEL: A handsome entrepreneur who is working on groundbreaking technology and who is hiding a tragic past. He becomes a love interest for Felicity, a rival for Oliver… and a new superhero. (NOTE: this name could be a temporary placeholder.)
- SETH: Intelligent criminal who specializes in chemistry. He drains his enemies of their power via a special drug and, physically, is on par with the Arrow.
- TOSHI: Will be seen via flashbacks to Hong Kong. Will serve as Oliva’s teacher, friend and handler and will be a loyal father/husband who is a well-trained in combat.
- AKIKO: Toshi’s wife and another of Oliver’s caretakers in Hong Kong. No fighting slouch herself.
