at . Comments

We're now less than a month away from the premiere of The Flash, so it's no surprise that the hot Arrow spinoff - along with The CW's Jane The Virgin - helped kick off PaleyFest in Los Angeles and New York over the weekend.

The annual fall preview festival of the hottest fall shows runs through September 15 and each event will be available to view via livestream for those unable to make it to the panels and screenings. Check out the complete schedule on the website.

Before The Flash Q&A took place, I was on the red carpet to talk with Executive Producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti, along with stars Candice Patton and Jesse L. Martin to find out what I could about the first handful of episodes they've been hard at work on...

Andrew Kreisberg talks the challenges with the special effects as well as flashbacks to come.

Greg Berlanti on the creative challenges for the new show, what he's learned thus far and...Supergirl!

What's surprised Candice Patton about playing Iris? Her bravery, for one, and the actress talked about where Iris's heart is.

Jesse L. Martin talks his talented cast, Gustin's musical skills and what powers he'd want his character to have.

The Flash Season 1 speeds up on The CW on October 7.

The Flash premieres October 7th on the CW. For more on the Paley Center and PaleyFest, visit the website.

The Flash Quotes

One mystery I cannot figure out is why some people come into our lives and why some people go. Others become a part of you. Some friendships feel like they'll last forever and others end far too soon. Not every friendship is meant to last forever. What does last forever is the pain when that person is gone.

Turns out no one can outrun pain. Life is tragic. But it's also precious and sweet and extraordinary and the only way I know to honor my moms life is to keep running.
