Arrow Season 4 Keeps John Constantine Alive!

Matt Ryan's John Constantine will live on through a guest visit on Arrow Season 4.

As you probably already know, Constantine was canceled over at NBC, and fans were (rightfully so) pretty bummed out about it. Arrow producers kept the fires alive with the idea that if they could come up with a plausible reason for Constantine to visit Oliver Queen, they'd try to make it happen.

They've done it! You just never know when you're going to need help from a weather-worn exorcist and expert on the supernatural and occult! The detective, magician and hunter of demons will provide critical support to Oliver in Arrow Season 4 Episode 5, "Haunted," when arrows just aren't enough.

Constantine Reunites with Jim Corrigan Season 1 Episode 13

"We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of Arrow. Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved character was always something we admired. The introduction of magic and mysticism on the show this season has provided a truly organic opportunity for us to bring John Constantine to Arrow and the CW’s DC universe. It will be a well-deserved tip of the hat to all the Constantine fans who were so incredibly supportive of that series."

Are you as excited as we are at the prospect of seeing John Constantine again, and with characters we already know and love so well? If ever we were happy the element of the other-worldy was introduced on Arrow, it's now.

If you need to catch up, you can watch Arrow online and watch Constantine online to familiarize yourself with both worlds. What a treat!

Arrow returns to The CW on Wed., Oct.7 at 8/7c.

Arrow Quotes

Curtis: I brought crogurts.
Rene: Crogurts?
Curtis: I didn't name them. I just eat them.

There are people in this world who deal only in extremes. It's naive to think that anything less than extreme measures will stop them.
