DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 15 Review: Destiny

If I knew how to insert sound effects (and act), I'd record one up above to greet everyone to accompany the DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 15 review.
Not my Snart. NOT MY SNART!!!
Losing Mick Rory for a short period of time was difficult. Watching Leonard Snart go out as a hero, even knowing (beforehand, thank you spoilers due to news alerts) Snart will be gone in the Mick sense of the word and not in the Laurel Lance of it all, HURT SO MUCH.
Because the bottom line is this: Wentworth Miller, and with him Leonard Snart, will no longer be a series regular on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. But he will be a series regular across the entirety of the Berlanti-verse.
It's kind of confusing, but not the worst news we could get, right?
In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a little bit picky when it comes to my DC Universe characters. My top three Legends are Snart, Sara and Mick. They are the cat's meow, the bees' knees, the bomb (I didn't want any of them to BE THE BOMB)...if you know what I'm saying here.
What's the point, you ask?
I hate when you can see the makings of a really great thing, and you don't get the chance to see it through to fruition.
"Destiny" was a really fun episode. One of the best. It made a great case for why we (yep, I'm tossing you lot into my opinion) often like Rip and Ray almost as much as Snart, Sara and Mick.
Rip wasn't whining at all. The friendship Mick and Ray built while in the gulag reared it's pretty head. The latter was probably on purpose give us an idea of what to expect of a Snartless Waverider.
There was also very little Stein and Jax, minimal Kendra, and no Carter (where the hell is he?). The right pieces were in play.
Even proving that not all romantic notions were yukky, Leonard himself dared talk a little about loooooove.
Snart: Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's being on this ship traveling through time, but I started to think what the future might hold for me. And you. And me and you.
Sara: You want to steal a kiss from me, Leonard, you better be one hell of a thief.
"Destiny" was a perfect example why the characters we really like work and why the ones we still find troublesome are, well, troublesome.
I don't know about you guys, but I really had no idea what was going on with Stein and Jax. I watched the beginning twice to try to figure out, but got bored and just moved on knowledge free.
I do recall Jax was sent back in time to heal his accelerated aging, but how did he see the future and the catch up with the group? What made him so knowledgeable of all things so suddenly?
Kendra being kidnapped by Savage was a relief. She is still a problem, especially after being reunited with Carter. She screwed things up by accepting Ray's proposal when she knew she'd always be in love with Khufu. The whole thing is too awkward now.
From what I understand, there are no longer time masters. Thank GAWD, because why would any superior being want to wrap themselves up in what looked like an apocalypse survivor's heavy woolen blanket held together by grandma's broach? They annoyed me.
Anyone who had the advantage of being out of time (or without time or what have you) so they could do whatever they please should have been living a better existence.
Mick thinking of the team to keep from becoming Chronos proved the time masters hadn't really mastered much other than loneliness anyway. Idiots. No wonder they fell in love with Vandal Savage.
So, no time masters, no time master engineering time and events within in. The Legends are free. Does that mean (maybe) that they don't need special implements to kill Savage? I'm looking forward to his death in the DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 finale.
I have no idea if he IS dying at that time, but I'm not going to allow it to be any other way, so I sure hope that's on the agenda.
Snart was always a hero in my eyes, mainly because he was cool as frak. There's a reason he was Captain Cool. Yes, I know he was Cold. But the Legends team melted his heart.
Having died in the Vanishing Point means SOMETHING to the Snart character, from what I understand, but I don't know what. He is without time. I don't understand how he'll be a full time character on Legends and The Flash, but I'm happy he'll be sticking around.
It still didn't stop me from crying (oh shut up, I'm still a girl) when Sara rushed up to kiss him after Snart had already knocked out Mick to hold the stick.
Oh the feels!! I love them more than an adult chick should love comic book peeps on TV. Thank God they're not 21. I feel somewhat validated.
OMG!! I almost forgot. How incredibly awesome was that scene calling back to DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 1 when the time masters asked for all time ships to follow the Waverider and they were overridden by Captain and Tenille?! That was Mick, right? Using some Chronos mojo?
Like I said, this was a great episode.
There is so much potential here, but it's not solid yet. I'm a little worried about the introduction of new characters and the loss of someone as strong as Snart. It could hurt. Where do you stand? You have to have a lot to say.
