CBS announced last week that 18 of their biggest series would be back for additional seasons.
That left the fate of Criminal Minds, 2 Broke Girls, Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, The Great Indoors, Training Day, The Odd Couple, Pure Genius and Elementary up in the air.
With spots on the 2017-2018 schedule now very limited, which of the above shows will make the cut for additional seasons?
We've done the analysis to give our best guesses for which shows you can expect on the schedule.
If you want to see how the other networks are stacking up, we have separate posts for The CW, ABC, Fox and NBC.
1.
The Big Bang Theory - Renewed
Season 10 is down just over 10 percent, averaging 14.5 million viewers and a 3.3 rating. It is still the number one show on CBS and has been renewed for two seasons. A spin-off has also been ordered for next season.
2.
NCIS - Renewed
NCIS is down almost 20 percent, averaging 15 million and a 1.8 rating. It has been renewed and will likely be around for another few years.
3.
Kevin Can Wait - Renewed
Kevin Can Wait is averaging 8 million viewers and a 1.7 rating. The show clinched an early renewal because of the ratings. Recent ratings have waned, so its fate after next season will depend on the performance of Season 2.
4.
The Great Indoors - Likely Cancellation
The Great Indoors is averaging 7.6 million viewers and a 1.6 rating. It loses around half of The Big Bang Theory lead-in. Missing out on an early renewal, the show seems destined to disappear into the TV ether.
5.
Bull - Renewed
Bull has been one of few freshman hits for the eye network. Season 1 is averaging 11.9 million viewers and a 1.5 rating. It gets a sizeable increase in delayed viewing and CBS will want to keep Michael Weatherly around. It has been renewed for Season 2 with a new showrunner.
6.
Mom - Renewed
Mom has never been a huge hit, but it manages to pull in respectable ratings. Season 4 is down just over 10 percent to 7.6 million viewers and a 1.5 rating.
7.
Criminal Minds - Certain Renewal
Ratings are down over 20 percent to 7.5 million and a 1.4 rating. The show gets a huge boost in delayed viewing. It will be back.
8.
NCIS: Los Angeles - Renewed
This series beat the odds and managed to pick up some new viewers after moving to Sunday nights. Season 8 is averaging 10.3 million viewers and a 1.4 rating.
9.
Superior Donuts - Renewed
Superior Donuts was a surprising renewal, but CBS does own the show. There was no way they were going to renew 2 Broke Girls over it. Season 1 is averaging 7 million viewers and a 1.3 rating.
10.
2 Broke Girls - Could Go Either Way
This once hot series has been declining for quite some time. Season 6 is averaging 5.7 million viewers and a 1.3 rating. CBS does not own the series, so that casts a dark cloud over it coming back.
11.
Man With A Plan - Renewed
This freshman comedy series is averaging 6.6 million and a 1.3 rating and has been renewed for Season 2.
12.
Life In Pieces - Renewed
Losing The Big Bang Theory has harmed this sophomore comedy series. Season 2 is averaging 6.3 million and a 1.3 rating. The show has been renewed for Season 3!
13.
NCIS: New Orleans - Renewed
NCIS: New Orleans has slipped over 20 percent in Season 3, but the syndication gods demanded a renewal and they got it.
14.
Scorpion - Renewed
Scorpion is down over 30 percent in Season 3, averaging 7.3 million viewers and a 1.2 rating. This can be attributed to a change in the timeslot. The series was renewed for Season 4.
15.
Hawaii Five-0 - Renewed
Season 7 has brought the show a new lease of life. It is currently averaging 9.5 million viewers and a 1.2 rating. It is up 5 percent vs. Season 6. It has been renewed.
16.
Blue Bloods - Renewed
Blue Bloods is on par with one year earlier. It is currently averaging 10.1 million viewers and a 1.2 rating.
17.
MacGyver - Renewed
MacGyver started high, but has been falling pretty much ever since. Season 1 is averaging 7.9 million viewers and a 1.1 rating.
18.
The Odd Couple - Certain Cancellation
The Odd Couple Season 3 averaged 5 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. That's down almost 30 percent from Season 2 and the show is nowhere near syndication.
19.
Madam Secretary - Renewed
This show is down over 20 percent in Season 3, but the syndication gods demanded another season. It is averaging 8.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating.
20.
Code Black - Likely Cancellation
Code Black was one of the more surprising renewals last year, but the show continued to drop in Season 2 and averaged 6 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. It's hard to imagine it seeing a third season. Its fate will likely hinge on the pilots the network has on tap.
21.
Pure Genius - Certain Cancellation
Pure Genius averaged just 5.3 million and a 0.9 rating. It will not be back.
22.
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders - Likely Cancellation
This Criminal Minds spin-off has lost considerable steam in Season 2. It is currently averaging 5.2 million viewers and a 0.9 rating. Packaging it together in a deal with Criminal Minds again probably won't save it this time.
23.
Training Day - Certain Cancellation
This new procedural failed to get much traction. To date, it is averaging 4.2 million viewers and a 0.8 rating.
24.
Elementary - Could Go Either Way
This show is down 30 percent in Season 5, but apparently CBS makes a lot of money from the show, so we can't rule it out just yet. Season 5 is averaging 5 million viewers and a 0.7 rating. It did get an order for two more episodes, so one would think that CBS is liking the money they are making from it.
25.
Doubt - Essentially Cancelled
Doubt was cut short after just two episodes. It averaged 4.7 million viewers and a 0.7 rating.
26.
Ransom - Like Cancellation
It's to imagine CBS renewing a series that was relegated to Saturdays before it even premiered. It is averaging 3.6 million viewers and a 0.4 rating.
